Location was amazing, and well the place is just stunning!
Just a stone throw away from Millers Dale which is where we parked for our walk before heading down to Brosterfield.
The hut was clean, warm and snug with everything you could ever need! Our dog was also welcome which made our stay even more special as it was our first little break with our pooch.
Bed was extremely comfy and TV worked.
The hosts kindly filled the hot tub up for us so we only had to hest it up which went well as instructions were clear and simple. The water also stayed warm over night considering the temperature was dropping so was nice to just put a few logs on and heat it up a little more and we were straight in and able to listen to the birds whilst the sky got light.

This is indeed a luxury yurt! It had everything we wanted and more. In particular, the bedding was super comfy!
We stayed for 7 nights during late May and used the hot tub for 6 of those and the braai for 5. We used the internal fire for 1 night when it was cooler (following rainy weather) and the yurt was toasty. The compost toilet was very beneficial; and the shared bathroom was always clean and had availability (even during half term holidays).
The site itself was beautiful and the camping community, including owners Gail and Amy, were lovely!
Great value for a longer stay and would absolutely return.

The wood burner was great for making the cottage warm and cosy in the evenings, and the hot tub was such a treat to come back to after our walks. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were great. The welcome booklet had lots of information which was greatly appreciated. We also loved the on-site shop with lots of fresh produce to enjoy. Really good location that had nearby access to hikes and experiences.

Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
Very comfortable. The loft area looking down on the lounge/kitchen was relaxing and cosy. A wonderful additional living space. Excellent location, only short walk into town centre across foot bridge. Two free private parking spots a great bonus.
Spacious apartment with lounge, fridge and microwave, bath and double bed. Very comfortable stay. Helpful staff. Great base for exploring The Peak District.
Friendly reception, large room and lovely bathroom with jacuzzi bath ☺️ great central location for exploring Bakewell and lots of nice walking routes nearby. Would stay again!
Warm reception. Excellent large room, kitchenette facilities great - microwave, hob, fridge with freezer box. Ample tea, coffee supplies. Table to eat.
Bathroom spacious with separate bath and shower cubicle. Toiletries and towels provided, including face cloths.
Hairdryer, ironing board, and iron.
Fantastic view from window over the town.
Idyllic and relaxing.
This is a lovely old property. Nostalgic and full of history. it has been tastefully adapted to suites and apartments, without losing its old charm. was met on arrival by a really friendly person who paid a lot of attention to our lurcher. we were then shown our suite, the vernon suite, which was lovely. massive bed, sofa and chairs, fully functioning kitchen and a spa jacuzzi bath.
