Lovely property tucked in quiet location not far from town centre. Nicely finished holiday house and ready to host family of 4-5 providing ample of parking space plus nice 6am bird song wake-up call ;-) Didn't have enough time to enjoy sauna or hottub - all nicely lit-up in the evening.

The house was lovely with a great kitchen sitting area that led onto a beautiful decking area and garden beyond. The house is very clean. Lovely welcome basket was left for us on arrival.

    The shower was lovely, the cabin was well equipped for cooking and it was wonderful to relax in the hot tub after a long day's walking. There was a parking space right in front of the cabin. Very helpful staff.

    We stayed for two nights for a relaxing break away and the secluded location was perfect for this. The hot tub was perfect with the open canopy as you can stargaze which was super romantic. The aesthetic of the property was designed beautifully and really felt like a home from home.

    Accommodation was well above expectations. Kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedroom were fully loaded with lovely touches and very comfortable. An ideal space for dog lovers and walkers to spend time exploring the local area as the accommodation lends itself to the walking and dog lovers fraternity. Our hosts were very helpful, allowing an earlier check in as our plans had changed which meant an earlier arrival than planned. Fantastic time, thank you.

    Spacious clean and comfortable property with everything required for an enjoyable stay. The hot tub was a particularly pleasant bonus and wy wife and I founf it very relaxing to unwind in. Staff were friendly & helpul whenever we had a query - a verypositive experience, so much so we will definetly be returning.

    Had the most relaxing few days away. Cottage was so cosy and homley. Had everything we needed and was so comfortable. The real fire was such a lovely addition. Having access to all the TV apps was brilliant and had the most amazing bubble baths in the roll top bath. Would definitely love to come back!

    Everything at Glenshieling House is just great. The rooms are spacious, spotless and comfortable. The Bathrooms are impeccable, the location is fantastic and the breakfast is the icing on the cake - just fabulous. The honesty bar is well stocked and a great place to relax, overall I cannot find fault with anything. Despite often travelling for work, I always look forward to my stay here.
