- Review scoreWonderful · 44 reviewsLocation is rural and proximity to the roman wall and fort made for the most fantastic walks with the dogs - The digs were spacious and well set out so a home from home for me as working away - hot tub was a bit tatty but it worked well and was fantastic to sit in it outside and watch the deer and wildlife literally a few meters away. The hot tub was a added bonus, it’s also a good location for activities too as the safari park was only a 25 minute drive. I had a issue with the TV connection and I messaged Fiona who was in Spain but still was very fast at replying and got the issue resolved almost immediately she even messaged again to ensure it was still working which was very nice of her. There were extras provided ( tea towels, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar ) which were unexpected as it was self catering so we assumed we would have to provide these ourselves.
