The flat is surprisingly big, a lot bigger than I expected, and is very well presented. The design of the interior is slightly quirky, but done very well indeed. Everything was immaculate and very clean, with great facilities to hand and milk and beer in the fridge!!
While there are no views out of the window, you are able to use the patio in front of the main house with great views across the wooded valley below. You may also have the companionship of a very fiendly cat if you do sit there!

Was generally a cute stay (instead of a luxurious one when we judged from the pictures!) Nice dinner and breakfast, excellent service, good view from the room, nice long walk around the hotel, beautiful sunset when you get lucky with the weather

Stepping into a hot tub and soaking in warm water is bliss. If you choose a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you want – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer private hot tubs, while others have shared jacuzzis, usually part of a wellness spa.
The room was cozy, very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The staff at the reception as well as in the restaurant were very hospitable and helpful with their tips. The breakfast was very tasty, especially the cooked variant. The hotel has a nice restaurant with a terrace and the view of the garden, the lounge room downstairs was also a nice alternative to sitting in the room. The highlight of our stay was the hotel's spa, a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere!
Being three couples, the lodge suited us well, having 3 bedrooms, two having en suit and a separate family bathroom.
We loved the large kitchen diner/lounge which was well furnished and comfortable.
The patio area was a great place to relax and enjoy the lake view
Friendly and helpful staff - nothing too much trouble. Relaxed atmosphere, excellent food in both restaurant and lounge bar. Rooms are really comfortable, clean and great facilities. Bags of piping hot water for a hot bath with high pressure taps. Fantastic!
Staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. The setting was lovely and we really enjoyed the walk round the lake. The spa was nice and the pool when we used it was not busy. The lounge bar next to the spa and hotel reception was a great place to relax. The apartment was clean, the bathrooms nice and the kitchenette had everything we needed.
Beautiful hotel, staff were amazing. This was my first solo trip and me and my dog had a wonderful time. We were shown a walk that we could do which was lovely. Then the lounge area we could relax for a drink. The staff for dinner were amazing and really enjoyed my meal. They even watched the dog when I had to pop off to the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely again. Staff were so friendly and really accommodating. Perfect stay especially if you have a pooch
What a gem! A lovely house in a quite village, within walking distance of the local pub. Theresa was a relaxed but attentive hostess and she looked after us very well. Her two wirehaired dachshunds, Fig and Brillo, are adorable! The house is tastefully furnished and the breakfasts were substantial with excellent coffee. We appreciated the large, spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom which allowed us to settle in comfortably for our 4-night stay. We were sad to leave and will definitely return on our next visit to the Cotswolds.
The setting is so peaceful and tranquil with the stream running behind the property .
The bedrooms are stunning with a luxurious bath in the room .
Great lounge/bar area to relax with a drink .
The food was superb !
Very tasteful elegant decor in period setting. Expansive gardens, spa and several lounge options to relax. Fabulous breakfast and dining. Dining room staff were very professional and helpful.
Spacious room. Big bath. Lots of hot water. Outside countryside feel. Easy to catch a bus to Cirencester.
Relaxed atmosphere. Good use of outdoor space. Busy
