Lovely hidden location, clear skies for great stargazing. Bus was great novelty to stay in, kids loved that and the animals wandering around. Bus decorated well including lots of Agatha Christie touches. Owners were friendly and very welcoming. Hot tub was great option as well, even in February
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
Breakfast was really good and friendly service. We only wanted to stay at quintessential English pubs during our visit and this fit the bill perfectly. Our bed was good, loved the low ceilings and beams and sloping floors in the bathroom.
Staff were lovely. there is a jacuzzi and it was really enjoyable to relax in the evening. The history of the place is great and it has been kept to make us feel how things would have been then.
Welcoming hosts who alerted me to road closure affecting buses, and very willingly offered me lifts to and from coastal walking route.
Foot spa a welcome bonus.
Quiet and comfortable.
The location is marvellous. The accomodation is reasonably priced and good value for money if you look at the very prime location. The room was clean, and even though we had a communal bathroom, that posed no problem at all. The location in the heart of this village is a winner.
The choice of food offered for breakfast would suit everyone; the menu for the cooked breakfast could be varied to order. The food was well cooked and well presented with little waiting time. The breakfast room was spacious and well furnished in keeping with the historic nature of the entire hotel. The location of The New Inn could not be better as it is in the heart of Clovelly; a guest has only to step outside onto the cobbles to experience the unique beauty of this ancient village.
Everything! Room is lovely and spacious! Bathroom is so big I can dance in there. Breakfast is excellent! I would give it a 5☆. Hosts friendly. Absolutely love it.
Super friendly and helpful hosts, Debbie and Peter, with a very spacious bedroom and bathroom that we loved. Best (and most generous) breakfast I've ever had in any B & B, with locally sourced ingredients. Lovely garden we enjoyed as the sun set, and parking space to boot. Idyllic in every way, highly recommended
