4.1 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club in Dumfries, Kirkwirral Guest House - not self catering provides accommodation with access to a sauna and hot tub.

This place was absolutely stunning. The hostess was there to greet us on arrival and show us around. The room was really nice. Comfy bed. Smart TV. Good internet. Very nice shower. Lovely toiletries provided as well. We could open our back bedroom door in to a beautiful stunning garden area with jacuzzi, sauna, loads outdoor seating areas, nice out house with fridge and chairs too. Stunning few of river at the back. Loved the hot tub. Nice hot temperature which l love. The couple who own the place were really helpful but at the same time not in our faces. Very safe secure place. Easy to park and not far from the town centre to drive to. Had breakfast upon leaving and oh wow was amazing. Can’t wait to return and take my mum.

Featuring a hot tub, Hillingworth's Hot Tub Retreat - Lochmaben is situated in Dumfries. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking.

Immaculate and everything you need right down to cleaning supplies, shower gel, and even some games to play. Loved the small touches like the candle, and the smell inside was delightful. Non-smoking and pet friendly reflect this. Having the plastic glasses were great for sitting outside. Comfortable and quiet surroundings. The hot tub was amazing...especially as our weather was fantastic. We took a drive to the local town, which was not far away, and picked up some essentials from a local Tesco. We stayed two nights, and the price was absolutely fantastic, considering it was an Easter Sunday and Monday. Could not fault anything at all and would definitely return. Seen reviews complaining about the WiFi, which didn't bother us as we were there to stay off our devices.

Located in Castle Douglas, 25 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club, The Munches Room at Buittle Castle features accommodation with a hot tub.

Room was great very comfy bed and room very clean, Welcome glass of sherry was thoughtful. The owner was very friendly and informative about the history of the castle and very attentive, bringing fresh milk on arrival, the castle is positioned in a peaceful country setting and we had a good look around the gardens watching wildlife and not forgetting the peacock. We chose the option of breakfast in the castle which added to the experience, the Scottish cooked breakfast was great. Thank you we had a lovely stay.

The situation was lovely, situated in beautifully maintained parkland and very quiet. The room was lovely, a good size with opening though secure windows, a big comfortable bed, 2 cosy armchairs, lots of hanging/storage space and a nice bathroom. Very relaxing. And the dinner was sensational, with lots of choice for my coeliac husband, nice wine by the glass, and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was good too. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful

The staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. They were very pleasant too. The room was very spacious and well appointed with a most comfortable bed. The bathroom was amazing with a jacuzzi bath and tv too! Breakfast was delicious with a great choice. A very enjoyable stay.

More places should have this kind of family suite. The space was perfect for us and meant we could have the children in separate rooms. The chairs in the living room were comfortable and the big hit was the jacuzzi style bath. The buffet breakfast was fine and the staff at breakfast and check-out were polite and helpful. Being able to park at the Caledonian Hotel was a plus. Having a fridge was very helpful. Beds were comfortable enough.

Absolutely beautiful location with stunning grounds and river to enjoy. Lovely old country 'house' with spacious rooms, lots of nooks and crannies to relax in about the property, and lots of character. Staff were generally very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds and always a treat to have a bathtub!

Was given family room. Even though expected 3 single bedded room. Separate double bedroom and sitting room. Had patio doors leading to car park so didn't have to go through main building. Large jacuzzi bath. And recliner sofas fridge was added bonus. Buffet full english breakfast. . Great value for money. Would definitely come again.

The reception is at the hotel next door and the receptionist was lovely and friendly. The room we where given was called the Flat, what a lovely space it was. You enter into a small lounge with 2 reclining leather sofas. A large fridge. Through a door to the bathroom and sleeping areas. The was a whirlpool bathe with shower. The bedroom had a comfy double bed. Then there was a bedroom with 2 single beds. All in all a lovely place. Oh I nearly forgot what a breakfast.
