Characterful, spacious house with large bedroom. Spotlessly clean with great bathroom and shower. Really enjoyed using the large shared kitchen, dining room and garden. Great location, walking distance to city centre and attractions. Really quiet and relaxing.

The room was great the bed was super comfy, but we did expect a nice bathroom to match the rest of the facilities a jacuzzi bath would have made it for us and everything would have been perfect

We were upgraded to the terrace suite on arrival which was large and comfortable, although there was no heating on! Bathroom was enormous! It would have nice to stay another night to try out the jacuzzi bath. The breakfast offered a great choice and the cooked items I had were perfectly done (I'm fussy about my scrambled egg!) A brief overnight stay but a good hotel choice.

Room was large, bed super comfy (and big as well), nice view of the golf area and pleasant spa (not super luxurious but had a steam and a dry sauna, a large jacuzzi and a hot/cold shower). We didn't use the gym.

Kitchen facilities and equipment, were brilliant and everything you could realistically hope for were there. Plenty of room for a few budding chefs to get to work. Cottage was spacious, with 3 nicely sized bedrooms. Upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Nice private area at rear of cottage to chill out even more and a nice hot tub to relax in. Cottage is beautifully decorated, with has a lovely style and all the wee copper coloured fairy lights add to the tranquil feel.

The Shaldon Suite is beautiful! A little private building on it’s own. It’s plush with plenty of space, a huge bed, a sofa and other chairs. The bathroom is spacious and even has coloured lighting. The bath is a jacuzzi bath. The carpet is thick and soft. Really lovely room. Quick and friendly welcome to get a few electronic keys. Staff very welcoming throughout and happily changed money at bar for a taxi after some reasonably priced drinks bought.
