It’s everything a country English farm should be. Remote, quiet, beautiful rolling coastal hills, horses, sheep, goats, Guinea pigs, the occasional pheasant and Rooks, Magpies, Jackdaws and even Ravens. Well equipped kitchen.
We chose the self service option and stopped in Saltash near Plymouth for groceries. There is a small grocer in Pleynt.
Stepping into a hot tub and soaking in warm water is bliss. If you choose a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you want – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer private hot tubs, while others have shared jacuzzis, usually part of a wellness spa.
Michaela and Ben made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. From welcome drinks in a cool, relaxing garden on arrival (much appreciated after a long hot journey) to booking us a table at a local restaurant, this all helped us have a totally relaxing break in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Fabulous views of countryside from spacious bedroom and it was so clean. Lovely couple and would highly recommend a visit.
The room was very light and airy with all the comforts needed. Bathroom spacious and perfectly clean! The position is just 2 minutes from the harbour. Staff at the pub very friendly and helpful!
Lovely building with Fabulous sea view and lovely surroundings. Spa was clean hot tub steam room sauna and pool. 1.5 hr slot, which was perfect. We had pizza for the england football match which was delicious! Amazing breakfast, which was help ourself, but you could order something different from the kitchen. Stunning wood panelled dining room. Friendly staff. Value for money. Shame we only had time for one night! Will definitely return with the kiddies and stay in one of the lodges.
The main building is a stunning mansion with surrounding forest and garden. The interior is beautiful, relaxed and quiet.
The lodge we stayed in was large, and bright with great facilities and very clean.
The ability to book in to use the pool, sauna and hot tub facilities for free truly made our short trip. Such amazing value for money, wish we could have stayed longer! Already looking to come back and spend longer down in Cornwall.
Lodge 410 is a well furnished and comfortable 2 bedroom detached lodge set in wooded and grassy headland overlooking Par sands.
booked the swimming pool in advance of stay and used the jacuzzi and sauna, nice option in bad weather. Enjoyed the woodland hillside walk - filled with bluebells.
Comfy beds - one king size and twin beds. Fresh white cotton sheets and quality mattresses. Peaceful & relaxing stay
The staff were very friendly, the accommodation was excellent, there is a very relaxed atmosphere about the place. Only about 30 yards to the ferry for Fowey, facilities are good with a guests only lounge overlooking the river, two sun terraces one with a hot tub .
Secluded location, building with lots of history and character. Room was spacious, bathroom nice and modern. The Bramley shower gels and shampoo smelt great
lounge area was lovely, with great views of Fowey harbour.
the shop was a cute little addition, lots of interesting things to purchase
Steak pie was splendid
Beautiful property and grounds. The rooms are lovely and clean, have all you need including extras like ironing board and a fridge. Staff were so friendly and kind, especially the breakfast staff. We enjoyed the pool (which you need to book to avoid overcrowding). It’s a very easy, quick drive into Fowey and other beautiful places. Plenty of parking. Lounge areas to relax in with a drink from the bar or coffee, and newspapers provided.
