Located in Castle Douglas, 25 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club, The Munches Room at Buittle Castle features accommodation with a hot tub.

Room was great very comfy bed and room very clean, Welcome glass of sherry was thoughtful. The owner was very friendly and informative about the history of the castle and very attentive, bringing fresh milk on arrival, the castle is positioned in a peaceful country setting and we had a good look around the gardens watching wildlife and not forgetting the peacock. We chose the option of breakfast in the castle which added to the experience, the Scottish cooked breakfast was great. Thank you we had a lovely stay.

Featuring a hot tub, The Barn @ Clauchan holiday Cottages is situated in Gatehouse of Fleet. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

The Barn was perfect for our family christmas away. Our party was 3 adults and 2 children. The barn was well equipped, clean and plenty big enough for us all. The hot tub was an added bonus and we had plenty of use out of it. We had everything we needed to make a full Christmas dinner and with the added bonus of a dishwasher which kept having to wash up to a minimum. The farm is set in a wonderful location, very quiet and the kids enjoyed seeing the animals and exploring the countryside. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return in the future. Thank you Iain and family.

Absolutely beautiful grounds. Very comfortable, spacious bedroom with spacious en suite bathroom. Beautiful public sitting rooms and dining room. Helpful staff. Dinner was very good, with pleasant service. Lovely to have a table by the window. We were only there for one night, but there is a lot to see in the immediate area.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, even when presented with a difficult request (I ordered just before the bar closed for food). Elegant lounges and a swimming pool and hot pool made this a relaxing place to stay despite the weather..

We booked mainly for the jacuzzi which didn’t disappoint the views of the fields behind us was so relaxing and we were lucky for the weather at night the skies were clear and could see the stars from the hot tub absolutely gorgeous, love the location with woodland walks close by that you can walk through to get to the nearest town which has lovely restaurants, pubs and shops for any essentials you may have forgotten.

Love this hotel - lots of memories from previous stays. I had a lovely large room in the Forest Wing with a balcony - super big comfortable bed. Loved relaxing in the lounges with a newspaper. I was able to adapt the food to my diet and enjoyed half board.
