Our group had an amazing stay at this property! The place was spacious, incredibly clean, and the beds were very comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. The host was lovely—friendly, quick to respond, very informative, and extremely accommodating, which made the whole experience even better.
There were, however, a few minor inconveniences. While the kitchen was large, there were no dedicated living room spaces, which made it a bit tricky for a big group to relax together comfortably. The only smart TV was in a bedroom, so entertainment options were limited unless you brought your own devices or speakers. Additionally, the cooker was quite slow, so if you plan on cooking, be sure to allow extra time. The jacuzzi was a great feature but took a while to heat up. Also, if you plan to use the fireplace or jacuzzi at night, be aware that there are no outdoor lights, so consider bringing extra lighting if needed.
In 200 acres of beautiful, tranquil grounds, this 4-star luxury hotel offers spacious accommodation and impressive leisure facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool and an 18-hole...

Lots of room including a spacious decking area. Included a fridge and mini oven inside. Nice separate bathroom and plenty of wood for the fires. A truly great experience with lovely helpful staff.
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
The location was great as it was in short walking distance from the main shopping area. The dining room was quite grand and a lovely space to eat in. Breakfast was good with both continental and full English options. The hotel had a nice lawn with outdoor seating to enjoy the sunny weather, a nice bar area to relax in as well as a separate lounge area.
Clean, spacious, great layout. Kitchen was fab as was the bathroom.
Garden was lovely and it was the hottest week of the year so far, so we cancelled the restaurant booking one evening and made the most of the garden and kitchen. I’d booked the apartment for five friends visiting from London so it was great for socialising and relaxing.
Location was quiet, accessible and a stones throw away from town shopping, restaurants and bars.
Great location. Lovely hotel. Room was very spacious (junior suite) with 2 bathrooms and a separate lounge area. Breakfast was very tasty. The restaurant at the hotel was also very good.
There was no air conditioning which very suprising. The gap to walk from the bed to the bathroom was very narrow. The bathroom windows were old and in bad shape. For the amount that we pay for the rooms, there is no room for such issues.the water in jacuzzi spa was very dirty
The location was fantastic and the whole flat is very well equipped. The two bathrooms are a bonus and very useful when you have more than two adults in the flat which is a good size and spacious. The Conservatory and outside seating area is really relaxing at the end of a day. It is also less than a ten minute walk to the town centre and main shopping area.
Amazing Victorian hotel with lots of beautiful period features only 10mins from town. Room was lovely, comfortable bed with a great bathroom. The spa was well equipped and relaxing. All staff members were extremely friendly, professional and helpful.
Spacious bedrooms decorated to a high standard.
Fully equipped spacious kitchen with dishwasher which was bright due to the double bi-folding doors.
Large hot tub and movie room.
Spacious bathroom with free standing bath and separate shower.
Loved the room. Spacious & nice to relax in.
My 2 boys loved the room, as it has bunk beds & a huge bay window with a lovely view.
Bathroom was clean & a decent size.
Plenty of space in the main bedroom & access to Disney+, bbc iplayer etc on the TV.
Breakfast was also very good.
Great stay.
Room and bathroon size, very clean and spacious. Beds and pillows very comfy and a lovely quiet room.
The lounge and bar areas are very spacious and lovely decor with relaxing music. Staff are very quick when ordering food and drinks and very attentive to you. Location is central with large grounds to walk through and outdoor seating.
A lovely hotel.
