Sam the restaurant and bar manager was exceptional, he was welcoming and accommodating, we had to leave early on Saturday so he arranged a bacon sandwich for us and as I was travelling to Paris this was really helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, well presented and very tasty and served with a smile by Sam! Cannot praise him enough!

The woodfired hot tub was my favourite. After an exhausting 7 hour drive to Yorkshire and arriving after 10pm, unwinding in a hot tub by midnight was just what the Dr ordered. I was a little unsure if this would be manageable after reading a couple of reviews claiming it didn’t heat up but I had no issues at all so think maybe it’s a case of learn how to build and maintain a fire before you visit if you’re not used to open fires/log burners etc Will definitely be visiting again

We had an exceptional overnight stay! Everything was spotless, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The showers worked perfectly with great water pressure, and the pool area was super cosy and relaxing. Paula, our host, was absolutely lovely and so friendly — she really made us feel welcome. It was the perfect stay for our group, and we would definitely love to return. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

    The property is beautiful. It has a very contemporary feel and the rooms are really nice and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and very clean. The food, both for breakfast and dinner was outstanding, although be aware they don’t serve food on Mondays. The staff simply could not have been more helpful.

    Clearly done a great job on the renovation and the outside space is lovely and the hot tub a real bonus and quite private. We met Ben’s parents who were there when we arrived and they made us feel very welcome. Nice little welcome touches as well.

    It was very clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Big bathroom with an amazing shower . Higgin Bridge House had everything we needed for our stay. The property is in a great location with everything on the doorstep. Andrea was a great host , very welcoming and friendly. Andrea helped us on our arrival checking we had everything needed for our stay . She recommended restaurants and places to go to in the local area .

    Spacious rooms, basic but clean with everything you need. Nice modern bathroom & very clean. Comfortable bed. Like the communal kitchen facility although didn't use as only stayed one night, but would be useful for longer stays.

    The location was very nice, Deborah was very friendly, it was nice having our own lounge area. It is not too clear on the listing but there are shared bathroom facilities, which were good. The shower was really nice.

    Beautiful little cottage. Although it's one bedroom the cottage itself has plenty of space with a large lounge, dining area and bathroom. Well stocked with every gadget you need, plus a few extra home comforts on top. Everything spotlessly clean. Nice view from the outside seating area too. Idea location. Faultless.
