The cottage is lovely. Very remote location up an extremely bumpy track so I would recommend using a 4 x 4. The location is very scenic and ideal for a countryside walk, weather permitting

Stepping into a hot tub and soaking in warm water is bliss. If you choose a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you want – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer private hot tubs, while others have shared jacuzzis, usually part of a wellness spa.
I had a lovely room upgrade with a super comfy bed and a lovely bathroom with a whirlpool spa bath. The room was quiet and I slept very well. The breakfast was delicious. I arrived fairly late the first night but was shown to the room and made to feel very welcome.
The cottage was absolutely spotless and really comfortable. After an exhausting day at Alton Towers it was amazing to stay somewhere we could genuinely relax. Plenty of places to eat locally but we chose to pop to the local supermarket (which is a 2 minute drive away) and get some tapas to put in the oven. Jacuzzi bath was absolutely heavenly and the beds were incredibly comfortable. My only regret is that we were only there for 1 night!!
The location was great as close to Alton Towers, lovely comfy rooms with en suite bathrooms, especially loved the jacuzzi bath! Loved the little touches with the toiletries, bath robes, milk & ear plugs as next to a main road although we didn’t need them as the traffic didn’t disturb us, in fact we all fell asleep as soon as our heads hit our pillows!
I would definitely recommend this cottage & would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Excellently equipped and fitted. Jacuzzi bath such a luxury. Having 2 ensuites also makes it so great for us. Comfortable beds, free parking. A home from home. Hugely recommended.
Accommodation and hosts were excellent. Room very spacious and comfortable with a bath in the bathroom, a big plus for us. Lovely big bed. Private Parking also available , a necessary bonus as on road parking everywhere else which was nose to tail. Very nice breakfast ,served in beautiful relaxing dining room. All perfect apart from position of bedroom and lack of advertised restaurant.
