The Oakenclough Hall, well what can we say, it exceeded our expectations with views and an apartment of the highest quality. Dawn (the hostess) was amazing nothing was to much trouble and we will certainly be back again. We had the optional breakfast as well which was amazing all locally sourced produce, delicious!!. The room, well, cleanliness and decor were impeccable. Overall finish and standard of the room was 10/10. We slept very well and didnt want to leave. We will be back to see Dawn, Johnathon and Lucy soon hopefully. There is plenty to do locally we went to Buxton which was great. There are also plenty of very good local pubs and restaurants. A great escape and would highly recommend!!!

Exterior was well maintained in beautiful grounds creating a wonderful first impression. The furnishings inside were tastefully chosen in beautiful color schemes and there was a fresh smell as you walked through to the office.

    Beautiful property with views to match. Big bed with wonderful bedding. A large bathroom with high powered shower and a stand alone bath tub with a view. Plenty of outdoor area to sit and enjoy the quiet. Access to a hot tub was a bonus. Great value for money. A real escape to the country.

    Lovely spacious room, really comfy bed and nice bathroom. Pool facilities were great, we used them in the evening and in the morning before check out! Well worth the price paid for a relaxing night away as a couple.

    Beautiful spa facilities however, it was very noisy with children playing in the pools so not much relaxation in terms of peace and tranquility. The rooms appear to have been updated however, a few more attention to detail in the bathroom in regards to cleaning of the skirting boards.

    Spacious modern rooms with nice walk in shower. Nice decor and comfortable bed. Lovely clean leisure facilities with nice relaxing pool. Large steam room and sauna, and the jacuzzi was huge. Like the ice room too.

    The room was stylish and bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was spacious, but water was draining very slowly in the bathroom basin. That was somehow off putting. Our 5 y/o had lots of fun at the pool while the spa facility was lovely, it didn’t feel crowded and was very clean. I felt very rejuvenated after the sauna, steam and jacuzzi!

    Amazing views and scenery, it felt very relaxing. Hotel room was clean and refurbished, big comfy bed. Was grateful for the ceiling fan as the weather was hot. The spa was amazing, outdoor pool was our favourite part, romantic sunset views from the pool.

    Great spot to leave work behind and relax. clean and tidy Fox Bank had a snug comfortable lounge and fabulous kitchen, brilliant bedroom comfy bed and functional bathroom coupled with a good garden and great location. Lots of walks direct from the front door and easy access to Macclesfield and Manchester and the Peak District.

    A great location, we visited nearby Macclesfield and the Tatton Park also for the car show. A lovely sized modern room, with beautiful bathroom. The pool & spa area was large including big jacuzzi. Breakfast was good, even though a little short staffed. Would definitely stay here again 😀.

    Fantastic relaxing location! Green surroundings. Looking down on the Manchester skyline on the horizon. A place to make nice walks or a short evening tour into the hills. Great main building. I did not use the spa facilities but the outside pool etc. also looked very attractive... hope to be back there one day (I don't often say that about hotels). Large free parking area, good bed, good bathroom...
