A 15-minute drive from Ayr and Prestwick Airport, the luxurious Enterkine Country House Resort lies in 350 acres of woodland estate.

Very clean, modern boutique vibe staff were fantastic and so nice and accommodating. We had originally booked a hotel room but they had a wedding up so we were lucky to be upgraded to a lodge so we weren’t in about the noise Staff were amazing will definitely come back

Glen Bay - 2 Bed Lodge on Friendly Farm Stay with Private Hot Tub is a recently renovated holiday home in New Cumnock, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

The location is spectacular, with the most beautiful and serene views. It is so peaceful. Really clean, cosy and good sized property with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. All of the amenities you could need are there (fridge, freezer, pots pans, plates, microwave, iron, shower, central heating, smart tv etc) all the comforts you would have at home, AND a hot tub (in the Glen Bay Lodge) which goes down a treat after a long day. The bed was huge (super king!?), I was laying next to my partner- didn’t even realise he was there most of the night the bed was that big! So comfortable aswell, we slept so well. Despite being on a farm, you’d expect it would be noisier with all the animals, it wasn’t, it was so peaceful at night. Cat is lovely, you can tell just by talking to her that she is just such a kind person. The love and effort she puts into each and every animal, and her farm is palpable, which reflects in her animals and how friendly they all are towards you. The dogs (Calli, Schubert, Kipling and Dali) will come to greet you and say hello sometimes throughout your stay, they are lovely dogs. Cat’s knowledge with regard to all of her animals, what they need and what they don’t, is superb, she will tell you whatever you want to know about any of them, and you can read the history on her website or when you visit (in the books in the lodge) what each animal has unfortunately been through in their past that has led them to need to be rescued, and the lengths Cat has gone to, to secure them and give them a loving home, it’s truly admirable everything she has done. If you are an animal lover, nature lover, and want some downtime with stunning views, mixed in with a few animal cuddles, this is the place to be, we all loved it and we will certainly be booking again for next year.

An amazing lodge with brilliant facilities including very spacious hot tub. Came with my 5 year old son who absolutely loved the play area and ducks. Lodge itself was immaculate and very roomy. Hosts were great and very attentive with loads of nice wee touches to keep us happy. Can’t wait to come back again.

The owner Cat is lovely, my little boy loved getting to know the animals. there is a lot of space to roam and the lodge itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting out on the decking and enjoying the peaceful views and listening to the river running by and also relaxing in the hot tub. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and just chill out. We will definitely return.
