My girlfriend and i loved it there! We thoroughly enjoyed the solitude of the area, the peace and quiet, and most of all the hot tub!
Everything there is beautiful! You cant hear anything there except for the sound of nature! The birds chirping, the ducks quacking, the deer jumping about in the distance.
Its the perfect place to go to get away from the world! Very little to no mobile signal, so inlaws, work, that 1 annoying friend that everyone has, none of them can get in touch with you unless you want them to.
Set in a Victorian mansion in 55 acres of grounds, Norton House features a luxury spa, award-winning restaurant and boutique rooms with free internet.

The staff went above and beyond to make the stay special. We had gone to celebrate our little boy’s first birthday and the hotel staff couldn’t do enough to spoil him rotten and make him feel special!

Attention to detail. Nothing too much trouble. Beautiful decor. Very relaxing.
5 minutes' walk from Grassmarket, Novotel Edinburgh Centre features a hot tub and swimming pool. It offers spacious, modern rooms with LCD TVs. Princes Street is a 10-minute walk away.
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
Accommodation was clean and warm
The location is very peaceful and picturesque
It snowed while we were there which made the scenery even more picturesque.
Hot tub was very relaxing
Staff came and cleared the snow in the mornings which we didn’t expect
Spacious, staff friendly, great bathroom. Good breakfast cooked to order. Good location for exploring south of Edinburgh and catching £2 bus into the city. Would definitely stay here again.
The welcome at reception, plenty of parking, relaxed atmosphere, the garden and welcoming bar. The room decor was very good as was the quality of the decor and it was of a good size; the bathroom was stylish and had a large walk in shower.
Loved the Craigie tartan wallpaper.
Everything was AMAZING.!!!. the place, the location, hot tub, the pod itself and the nature.
Was the best place I have ever ever stayed.. if I lived closer I would come over more often. But definitely highlight of our visit to Scotland. Gave us a pure relax and chill time after long travels and busy day. If you lowe peace and quite place, this is perfect place then.!
Our stay was excellent, we actually wish we stayed another night as it was so relaxing. Everything was fantastic. The area was gorgeous and the wildlife was great. Including a few mama ducks with babies right outside our door. We had an amazing sleep as the bed was so comfortable and everything felt so clean. The hot tub was a perfect way to decompress after a big weekend and we didn’t want to leave!
Would definitely come back here
The room was very high tech and modern, with control panel for lighting, heating etc. The underfloor heating was absolutely amazing. Hot tub was super hot and relaxing, however no bubbles or jets so more like an outdoor bath.
