Great location - very rural although still a short drive or a beautiful walk to Pitlochry. We would recommend walking there from the Killiecrankie visitor centre and getting a taxi back.
The Lodge and decking area is big, plenty of space and everything you need. Both bedrooms are a good size.
The hot tub is brilliant and stays warm for hours.
The kids loved the local dog, so friendly and loves cuddles.
Good wifi so the kids could still get some quiet time and we could stream some movies.

Great location, great views and high standard of finish throughout accommodation.
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.

We had a lovely stay. There was a lovely atmosphere at the pitlochry Hydro. The bar area was a very comfortable space. We had a lovely meal and the breakfast was also great. The room was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. I used the pool and jacuzzi and sauna.
The reception area and lounge area lovely decorated and staff friendly. Large 3 bedroom was loads of space and nicely furnished beds were so comfortable and crisp white linen made for a good sleep for all 3 of us. Breakfast was plentiful as you had a buffet and then ordered hot stuff fresh,we spent a few hours in the pool spa area with steam room jacuzzi and lovely pool all in all fabulous stay
Atholl Palace was such an amazing hotel experience that I don't where to start. It's almost as if I don't want to say how great it was in order to keep it a secret!
The greenery around it, the beautiful windows and niches overlooking the forest, the grandiose English breakfast in the breakfast salon, the spa with its calm and quiet pool, relaxing jacuzzi... Our jaws dropped when entering the estate of the palace, and our expectations were exceeded in every moment of our stay. Absolute recommend.
The pool and jacuzzi bath lovely. The staff were friendly too.
Loved the robe and slippers and toiletries.
Close to the high Street with shops cafes etc
On the downside
Noisy neighbours in the middle of night woke us plus heard their TV on for remainder.of the night.
Fortunately I brought ear plugs with me.
Plus I noticed large cobwebs hanging down from bathroom ceiling
Lovely stay after visiting distillery. Central to town and easy walk to most things.
Staff very friendly throughout and had lovely Scottish full fry up.
Spa facilities were just what we needed after long drive made the most of the pool and jacuzzi.
Room comfy, nice bathroom and plenty of space.
Loved our stay here, from the very friendly welcome we received from Karen when we arrived early, to the wee luxury toiletries in the very spacious bathroom in our room. A lovely relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful breakfast cooked by Taylor. Great location, excellent value for money. Nothing was too much trouble for Karen and her team.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Acarsaid. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was immaculately presented with very comfortable lounge areas to relax in the evening. The room was very clean and spacious with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast was also very good. Overall, it was a very lovely stay in a lovely hotel. We will be staying again at the same time next year.
Overall great accommodation, exceeded my expectation. Very comfortable indeed. The host was great with communications and was on hand for the duration of our stay. The lodge is new and modern. The lounge and kitchen are a lovely space to relax in. The bedrooms & bathrooms (x2) are tight on space but the showers are really good. The TV has all the movie channels available like Netflix, Now, Disney+ which is a really nice touch. Really great location for exploring Scotland and the site which is the lodge is on is very quiet.
