The downstairs living room and sleeping room with en-suite bathroom are bright, comfortable and relaxing and the upstairs rooms were the perfect getaway for the kids. If you step out on the private terrace you might see some cows (certainly hear them), sheep, deers and rabbits. People relaxed, had a meal or a drink, but more importantly they talked with each other. The Glenburn offers an area like this due to the mix of sofa's to sit and relax on and tables to have bar food at. This was on top of an amazing restaurant where the food was gorgeous. Only criticism is that I'm a bit of a traditionalist and would have liked a bit more traditional food on the menu. Overall an excellent stay.Guest review byandrewYoung couple

Nice, spacious room. We really appreciated the bath: excellent for relaxing the muscles after a long walk. View from the room (we took one with sea view) was great. Rooms are super quiet, we slept like babies. Bar personnel were very friendly and helpful. Location: just 5 min walk from the ferry and Rothesay center / buses.Guest review byfeiYoung couple
