I had a fantastic stay at this lovely family-run hotel. It’s just a short walk from the beach, and the clean, stylish rooms made it feel like a real treat. Set in Sandown in the Isle of Wight region with Sandown Beach and Dinosaur Isle nearby, Little Parklands offers accommodation with access to a hot tub.

Spotlessly clean and very well equipped with plenty of matching crockery and cutlery. The apartment was spacious, the bed was very comfortable (and huge!). The shower was good with plenty of hot water. Little touches such as washing machine capsules, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and cloths, salt & pepper, cooking oil and enough tea/coffee & milk for the first night were appreciated! We didn’t use the hot tub due to the windy & chilly weather but it was available for us and the balcony is a perfect sun trap! Parking wasn’t an issue when we stayed and it was a comfortable 10 minute walk to the seafront. Our host greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. If you’re looking for a base on the Isle of Wight you’d struggle to find anywhere better!

The property was beautifully decorated and furnished to a high quality. It was exceptionally clean . The kitchen was well thought out and there was everything that you might need for your stay. Tea, coffee sugar, milk etc. The master bedroom was exceptionally spacious with a large bed , small sofa and TV . The second bedroom was plenty big enough with twin beds. The lounge area was comfortable and airy and again was ideal . We would definitely recommend this property and will definitely be coming back.

Everything was just spot one. We especially liked the outdoor space as we were pretty much on our own must of the time. The chalet was amazing and we had a very relaxing holiday.

The property is located in a quiet residential area as a small annex to the side of their house. Free parking (which is expensive in most other places), comfy bed, good quality furnishings, lovely little touches such as a microwave, pod coffee machine which we didnt use as we ate out, and a much thanked for fridge to chill drinks in. The spa bath is amazing!

I liked the driveway and the rose garden, the approach looked quite grand and I saw a red squirrel. My bathroom was quite recently refurbished and looked new and clean. The room was spacious with large windows overlooking greenery and I could open the windows and hear the birds singing.

Bay views double room with sea view and balcony is one of the best rooms in the entire hotel. The room is very small and the bathroom as well but the view is mesmerising. If you would love to spend the time on the balcony terrace which is huge and have a relaxing day then it is perfect. We also had access to the pool and spa which was great. The staff are friendly and nice. Overall wonderful stay and plan to return soon.

I found Lyndhurst house spotlessly clean,I had a single room with my own bathroom down a couple of steps(I had my own key for it). The hosts were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Fantastic breakfast and lots of choice. There was a lovely lounge available to use, if I didn’t want to sit in my room. Perfect position for Sandown sandy beach and cafes. Having their own parking spaces was very handy.
