Received the details ahead of time. Key safes were obvious, well labelled and easy to find. The hosts provided lots of information, which was very useful. The studio was clean and well stocked. The honesty box is a great idea, we didn’t need it, but if we did, it would have been a life saver. Breakfast items were very welcome.

Absolutely beautiful property, the apartments were just perfect for our big family group for a local wedding. There is a lovely outside space for everyone to gather, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming! Each apartment had a selection of breakfast items which was a lovely touch. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience - thank you!

It was perfect from start to finish. Absolutely great staff, owners have thought of everything. Louise was the main staff member who served us throughout our stay and she’s a credit to the place absolutely great lady who couldn’t do enough, she is so fast. The locals were welcoming, not a clicky pub at all & felt relaxed & the food! Wowwwww prices were great & portion sizes are too. We only live 20 minutes away and we will drive through just for the food from now on as it’s worth it. Also bringing our kids back for a night as it’s family friendly. Side note to bookers - definitely worth adding the hot tub pre lit service so hot tub was perfect for arrival. See you soon. C & A

Property was in a nice location. The property was very cute but had so much more potential. The hot tub was nice and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.

A lovely cottage with a private garden an allocated parking space. There is a comfortable bedroom, a lovely bath and a kitchen and living area. The garden is fenced, so if you bring a dog you have your own space. Everything was clean and well looked after.
Ian and Sarah are very helpful and friendly.
The location was superb, very quiet and peaceful, access very easy, parking space for the property. The bed was very comfortable and the bath/shower a pleasure to use. Even though the owners lived on site we had very little to do with them but they were there if we needed them. Whenever we went out or came back the owner's 2 lovely dogs greeted us with woofs and wags of their tails and if we stopped to play with them they were very happy in deed.
Really lovely spacious lodge - everything you could need provided for you. Used for a family night away and we cooked, played games and went in the hot tub and it was the perfect space.
Our stay was for 1 night as we were cycling the TPT from Conisbrough to Hull, the George was an excellent half way stop. Plus good cycle storage.
I had seen some of the negative comments before I booked, but this didn't put me off. The room was very spacious with a bath, the Staff were excellent. Would definitely stay again.
We booked a one night stay for a wedding in the local area. Our day was a bit of a squeeze travelling to check in and get to the wedding. I spoke to Laura before arriving and she was absolutely amazing helping us to get checked in early so we could head straight off to enjoy the wedding. Laura even helped us to book a taxi upon arrival! We can’t thank her enough for all her help. Our room was lovely and clean, very spacious with a nice bathroom.
The reception ladies were absolutely lovely I was travelling with 3 children and they made us feel very welcome as were the cleaning ladies we helped them out and stripped our beds etc the room was spacious and adequate with bath shower kettle etc and tv the bed was very comfy and the children’s too.
The bar staff were very pleasant too and I loved the fact it had the soft play for the kids to run around and blow off some steam.
Room was quite spacious and nicely decorated, the bathroom was large and the shower very powerful. In the future we would stay again but not pay extra for the breakfast as unfortunately the quality of the food and the quality of service at breakfast was not consistent.
Short distance from Selby - where we needed to be.
Reception staff lovely.
Bathroom in accessible room well equipped with grab rails for bath, toilet and sink.
Plenty of parking and accessible parking spaces.
The room was spacious and comfortable if a little dated. The breakfast was good and hot could benefit from the addition of an alternative fruit juice to just orange. The staff were really friendly and helpful even when someone set off the fire alarm by leaving the bathroom door open while showering at 11pm.
