We loved the rural setting and the close proximity to town where we could find everything we needed. Additionally, it was close to Falkirk where we able to take the train to Stirling. Edinburgh, and Glascow. It was great for walking.

Beautiful location with lovely local walks. Large lodge apartment, well appointed with balcony. Great food in the Whisky / Gatehouse Bar. The staff were very friendly. Nice leisure facilities.
Stepping into a hot tub and soaking in warm water is bliss. If you choose a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you want – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer private hot tubs, while others have shared jacuzzis, usually part of a wellness spa.
We received a very warm welcome from Irene when we arrived. The kitchen and bathroom was well stocked and the charge point was very useful after travelling from Fort William. Well situated for Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, lake Menteith but also Stirling and Edinburgh. Relaxing lounge upstairs where we watched the sheep in a nearby field. We also loved the caramel wafers!
The property was beautifully done up, extremely comfortable and functional at the same time. The smart features worked smoothly rather than feeling gimmicky. The spa was incredible; relaxing, clean and sleek. We especially liked the depth of hot tub. Hosts were readily available and helpful.
I loved the friendliness and welcoming staff. They always seemed happy to help. The King room was spacious, warm and had a beautiful bathroom with a huge bath tub. It was a home from home and it was our first time in Stirling visiting a friend and the hotel made it a lovely place to relax in.
What a gem! We had an amazing, relaxing time at the Bothy. The house has everything you require, quiet, spacious and private and was decorated to the highest standards. The hot tub was lovely and private. The hosts were very helpful. The farm is a couple of minutes' drive to Callander if someone fancies a stroll or a meal out. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you
Beautiful space in a lovely setting, close to nearby walking routes and local high street. Great having the hot tub as well, it made our stay all the more relaxing.
Would like to make another visit soon and have already recommended it to friends and family!
The hotel itself is a fantastic place it has a lot of history.
The property has a grand feel and look, the room was large and had everything you could need,
The hotel is also dog friendly so anyone can take their fur babies along with them.
The hotel has a lovely spa where you can relax by the swimming pool go for a jacuzzi or go for a lovely steam in either the steam room or the sauna, wonderful.
I would definitely stay here again.
pictures did not do the place justice! so spacious and high tech! loved the location and apartment. all the facilities (not just the fantastic spa but all bathrooms are fab, kitchen and beds amazing! tvs massive) We can’t wait to come back again for another relaxing break!
Localisation is great, just at the bottom of the Stirling Castle. 15 minutes walk to the centre of the town. Property itself very clean, decorated with taste and to make you feel comfy and cosy. Lounge spacious with beautiful views. Room very comfy, clean and made to perfection. Dining room nice decorated with relaxing music on the background. Delicious breakfast made of local and fresh products and homemade bread- outstanding. Car park available on site.
The property is beautifully presented throughout and is obviously loved. The bathroom is lovely and having the lounge space was a nice surprise. The setting is also amazing and so quiet and peaceful. Best nights sleep of a week of hotels and guest houses, the bed was very comfy. Also, Fi was very friendly, helpful and informative.
