Car Parking area was more than adequate. Woman who met us was very helpful with everything we needed help with. eg, put an item in their fridge freezer for us.
This sophisticated Elizabethan manor and spa boasts traditional countryside elegance and modern luxury.

We loved the fact that it is a small hotel.
Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Our rooms were large and spacious. Grounds and gardens are so pretty.
Will definately go back

The room was very clean and comfortable, the beds were amazingly comfy and we all had 2 pillows each. The Aircon was a great bonus!

The location is great, with the manor house sitting in its own casually landscaped grounds. Likewise, the spa complex is lovely, with a pool, steam room, sauna, mist showers, and hot beds.
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
I stayed one night with my Mum and we loved the room detail - the extra large double bed, energy savers like refilable bottles of water and milk from the bar and the contemporary country relaxed vibe of the public spaces. Our vegetarian breakfast was delicious and fresh too. The location is right next to the railway station - perfect for us, yet our requested quiet room meant we slept easy. Will be back.
On arrival I was met by Kate, who showed me around the house. The kitchen facilities were great. Good selection of breakfast choices. The bathroom was equipped with complementary shower gels.
My room was clean and comfortable and had its own coffee making, ie kettle, coffee bags, which were very nice, there was teabags but i didn’t try them. I overlooked the garden which was lovely.
kate is a charming lady and the atmosphere of the house is calm and relaxing.
I would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to have another stay.
This is such a lovely relaxing place to stay. The location had wonderful views, in a picturesque village and a pub within a short waking distance. The quiet location allowed us to relax and make the most of the hot tub!
Everything was well laid out and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the facilities
From the moment you walked it it felt cosy
Lots of DVD books games to choose
Kitchen had everything you could think of
Bedroom was extremely comfortable with loads of space for your clothes
Bathroom shower excellent
Choice of towels
Everything was really spotless
Location couldn’t have been better
Would highly recommend
We thought the property was very spacious and we liked the 2 bathrooms. It was great to find a full length mirror and the fans came in useful in the hot weather.
Very welcoming & friendly staff and a location that could not be more convenient for the railway station (and was not noisy). The room was spacious, light & airy with good storage and an extremely comfortable bed. Fantastic bathroom and shower. There has clearly been a lot of thought put into the renovation and the attention to detail shows.
Ideal place for o relax! Very private cabin, it was our first experience glamping and I have a feeling we were spoilt!
Lovely cabin, with an outdoor jacuzzi, easy to check in and check out. Staff was lovely and communicated all the info beforehand and we even had the opportunity to meet one of the owners.
Really spacious, excellent facilities, for self catering there is everything the visitor would need. Terrific lounge, bathroom etc. In short, all mod cons. Will definitely look to stay again.
Beautiful location. Was given an upgrade to a fabulous room with four poster bed and jacuzzi bath.
I especially liked the toiletries on offer to use. Not the little samples, but full size, to use while you stayed. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely stay again. And will recommend. Dinner was fab too.
