United StatesOur last minute trip to Hydra brought us to Marias House. The host met us at port to help with luggage, walk us to the house, and show us around. His wife then brought us homemade coffee cake. They could not have been more kind and lovely. The location is within minutes from main area and the neighbors are wonderful. Traveled here with my husband and 3 small children. We loved this Island and hope to return back and will be staying here again if we do.

We weren’t well during our stay on Hydra but the comforts we had really helped. The cool jacuzzi during the heat of the day was also a blessing. The room was perfect, great bed, super bathroom and everything very well done, tastefully furnished with a traditional feel. There is a lovely spacious courtyard with tables where guests can sit and drink their coffee etc. Panayiotis the owner, and Maria who did the room everyday could not have been more helpful and lovely. With a sunny courtyard, it is spacious, well furnished and equipped, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a comfortable living area, kitchen, etc. The quality of the furnishings and decoration is high and it is very clean. The room was so cosy and spacious, with a relaxing decoration. Light architecture was exceptional. Bathroom was large and had all sorts of amenities as well. Kitchenette facilities were great, with Nespresso machine and capsules, teabags, bottled water provided daily. Very close to city centre. The terrace area that offered fab views of the port was excellent for relaxing with some wine and taking in the wonderful atmosphere. Lots of space throughout and each of the bedrooms were quite large. The host met us at the port and guided us to the apartment - about 5 mins walk from the main front.
