It is in a super quiet surrounding, still 2 minutes from the sea. Staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast served was varied and plentiful. There's a rooftop swimming pool which has a nice view of the sea as well (although we didn't use, just went to have a look). Spacious room, comfortable bed. Thanks

I arrived late due to a delayed flight, but my room number had been confirmed in a message, and there was a key in the door waiting for me so I let myself in (the hotel doesn't appear to ever be locked). The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location for walking into town. I was on the top floor, which meant I had a decent view out over the garden towards Sellia. If there were any staff at the hotel I did not meet them for the duration of my stay - it was like the Marie Celeste - though my bed was made each day while I was out.

Surrounded by lush greenery, quietly located on the beach of Karavos, the traditionally built Kalypso Cretan Village offers a swimming pool, tennis court and spa centre.

The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet spot, surrounded by cliffs. It features a private, sheltered rocky bay ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The breakfast and dinner were both good, and there are plenty of activities, such as diving, yoga sessions, and evening entertainment. It’s also an excellent base for exploring the southern coast, whether by rental car or through the many organized trips offered by the hotel. For those who enjoy hiking, both Plakias and Amundi Beach are reachable by foot.

This is a beautiful house whose owners take care of it with exceptional love and pleasure. It feels like home, it is entirely equipped, impeccably clean and incredibly peaceful. It’s in the middle of olive groves and mountains and has amazing views and a gorgeous garden. You need 10 minutes or so by car to get to the beaches on the south. The owners are sweet and welcoming.

The pool, the jakuzzi was amazing. Quiet nice area in village Gerani. When we checked in we found a bottle of wine, tsoureki, and fruits which was very surprising. The bed is super convenient. We had a lot of towels which is big advantage when you use pool and jakuzzi. We found also washing powder and dish washing tablets which is useful when you travel with family.

The villa exceeded all our expectations - you can really see the effort that was put into the house to make it a perfect summer getaway. From the amenities such as coffee machine, BBQ, hairdryers etc., to the facilities such as outdoor shower, jacuzzi, multiple seating areas outside and a small gym area in the backyard, everything was really thought through. When you first enter the villa, you really get the "wow" feeling. We checked in during sunset hour and the villa has one of the best sunset views I have ever seen. The host was lovely and really helpful and provided us with guidance on what to visit in the surroundings, which was very useful since we wanted to see things that were not populated by tourists that much. Location wise - even though the villa is in the hills, you can easily reach Rethymno by car/taxi in 15 minutes, which is really convenient. We went by car to all the beaches, but also the villa stay was so special that some days you just want to stay inside and take in the views and the nature that surrounds the villa. The villa provides additional bath and pool towels, that were changed 2 times during our 10 days stay, which was more than enough. All in all - could not recommend this villa enough and we will definitely be back again!

Everything was perfect. Stunning mountain and sea views, excellent location, extremely clean and comfortable. Having our private jacuzzi made everything incredible. The owner Stefan was great and helpful from start of finish. Stefan has done an amazing job building Agros Simple Living and he continues to improve and make it better for his guests which is lovely. It’s the perfect place to be in nature yet so close to tavernas, supermarkets and coffee shops. So many incredible gorges to walk, beaches to visit, the area is perfect. We loved it so much, we will be back again 100%

The owners were very accommodating even though we arrived later in the evening. The house is nice, spacious and clean. It is suitable for 4 adults and one child. In the house, you can spend your time together in the living room, on the balcony or in the yard.
