The owners are very warm and welcoming! The view and the atmosphere, as you sit on the terrace, are amazing! It is far better then in the pictures! The descriptions are correct! There really isn't anything else that you might need, in terms of comfort (fully functional kitchens; toiletries in the bathrooms; night lights; mosquito nets; TVs and A/Cs in all rooms; washing machines; balconies; etc.). A car is needed to get to the location, but without one, is as if you visit Crete with one eye closed. A very good restaurant is down the road (the owner can guide you perfectly, to the best places - Efcharistou, again, for eveything!🤗); and supermarkets are within a few kilometers (not to mention some amazing beaches!!). Our kids had the best time here!! Highly recommended and will try to return whenever possible! 😀

I was greeted by Stephanus (the owner) Very nice young man who told me he only completed the build in July 2024. I had the whole place to myself which was amazing. You can sleep with the windows open and the only thing you'll hear are the bells on the sheep. (best nights sleep in a very comfy new bed) My reason for going to Frangokastello was to experience the dark sky and it didn't disappoint I will defiantly be returning.
