The hotel was great! Everything was clean, the food was really good, the spa wasnt's busy, we were alone in saunas. The beds were super comfortable and the location is great and very central. There are 2 parkings available - outside area and in the garage. The beach is just across the street.

Set on the coast, 2 km from the north of Crikvenica, Hotel Abalone is located in the heart of the Kvarner region. Free WiFi is available.

Apartment was even bigger than it looked on the website, and was equipped essentially with more than what's usually needed (kettle, microwave, fridge, stove, etc.). And even if you miss something, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, with lots of options. Location is really great if you're with family, as on one side it's very quiet but on another you have several restaurants/bars/shops withing walking distance. If you like parties, bars etc. - the Crikvenica center can be reached by foot following the road next to the beach. There are cars there, but due to the fact that it's only one way, it's relatively safe. The closest beach is very good and really close (you just need to walk down, max. 5 min without kids :)), it also has a beach bar and it's possible to rent sunbeds/umbrellas. Staff is very helpful, and you can get great advice and recommendations from them. They really make this place awesome. I would say they are the main differentiator and reason for my high ratings. The hotel has lot's of places to sit and relax, a pool and even a room for children to play if the weather is bad.

    All the recommendations for this apartmen. Host is more than friendly. We have everything that we needed and even more. Waterbed and hot tub in bedroom, jacuzzi, sauna and grill on terrace. There is literally nothing to complain about.

    The Deluxe apartment is simply fantastic, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and hot tub. The proximity to the beach/restaurants/shops and the excellent amenities of the apartment made our stay unforgettable. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, attentive to all our needs. The apartment is clean, modern, and comfortable – a perfect choice for a relaxing holiday.

    Pluses: Spacious yard with chairs, table, shower, clothes dryer Cons: The beach is a bit far, you have to climb a long slope. I had no hot water in the kitchen during my stay, and in the bathroom the hot water ran out when the second person took a shower. I found ff a lot of roaches and roaches in the room. I booked this apartment based on the reviews on booking, but the only plus of this apartment is the terrace, there are 2 apartments on the ground floor, maybe we were unlucky and the other apartment would have been better.

    From the moment of reservation, the communication with Andrea has been really smooth, she responded quickly to our additional questions/requests. We really enjoyed the stay! The place is nicely designed and furnished, with plenty of kitchen appliances and we really appreciated 2 bathrooms it had. The area is really nice and clean, 10 min walk to the city center and the pool area was spacious with a nice view. Would definitely like to come back again!

    This was our second time in Hotel Katarina and it was again incredible. The food is great, the location is perfect, a minute away from Selce center and half an hour walk away from Crikvenica. The SPA zone is clean and relaxing. Our room was sea oriented so the view was amazing. We got a few complimentary things from the managment as well which was a nice touch. We wil definitelly be returning next year!

    Apartment is really nice, new and well equipped. Sofa bed in the living room was also good for sleeping. Kitchen and bathroom has everything you'd need (including a washing machine, iron erc.). Huge terrace with table and sunbeds. Location is great, 5 mins walk to the nearest beach, 3 mins to the supermarket. Parking space is also of big value. Excellent wifi, smart TV. Very nice hosts!

    Mobile home was excellent. Felt luxurious. It has everything you need, well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms etc. and terrace is spacious too. Swimming pool on two levels is perfect, free deck chairs and sun umbrella by the pool.

    The apartment is very nice and convenient. A lot of cutlery, kitchen ware, furniture. Two bathrooms, one of which is on suit, made our stay extremely comfortable. Spacious balcony with gargen furture and huge umbrella overlooking the sea turned our mealtimes into lovely timespend. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. Location is great, as it's close to a big supermarket and various beaches. It is also worth mentioning, that there was WIFI available.
