Facing the beachfront, PLACES Hvar Villas by Valamar offers 4-star accommodation in Stari Grad and has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden and shared lounge.

The facilities are lovely, villas are great size and well set up for families. The main pool was heated so really warm for a baby. Food was average but worked ok with us with a baby. You’d probably be better to spend the daily allowance on drink and eat in the town where the food was a bit nicer.

Completely renovated in 2020, HVAR [PLACESHOTEL] by Valamar is set right at the beach promenade, just 50 metres from the sea.

Location was fabulous, so many varities of sunbeds that were all free (unlike many places these daya) Breakfast selection was plentiful and vaired

Very comfortable spacious apartment. Huge beds. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Bonus having a communal pool table and swimming pool although it was too cold to use while we were there. Quiet location. Very near 2 huge supermarkets. Easy to get everywhere by car. It took us roughly 20 minutes to walk to the harbour. Lots of parking available although across a very busy road. Gorana was an attentive and helpful host.

Situated in Jelsa, Studio apartment with swimming pool features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive.

Our host Gorana responded to our guestion in advance well and was very helpful during our stay. She let us stay at the pool the day after, while we had to wait for the evening ferry to Brač and gave us even pool towels without extra charge. The room was big with extra space for eating and it was very clean and nicely decorated! Lovely pool with shower, sunbeds, relaxing area, colorful flowers and also a lovely inside-area to spend time outside own room. Excellent price-quality relationship. Can strongly recommend for everybody, and also especially for families!

The host was very nice and helpful, there was a spacious parking slot and the whole apartment building was nicely decorated giving a very pleasant atmosphere. We came in colder season so didn't use the pool.

    The location is very scenic, especially down at the sea front. Facilities are great. Two pools, plenty of sun loungers, green areas. All very well designed and maintained. A very relaxing place to be, in the mornings. Good range of activities. Really nice, helpful, responsive staff.

    Very modern, very clean and spacious apartment a short walk from the centre of Stari Grad. Lovely clean pool with plenty of sun loungers. We were met on arrival by a very helpful lady. This was definitely the best place we’ve stayed in Croatia.

    Amazing location with beautiful views of the marina and surrounding area. A short walk to lots of restaurants, a supermarket and a couple of small beaches. The outside area is excellent with somewhere always in shade if you need it and lots of sunbeds/ seating plus a gas BBQ. Great to have a swimming pool too. 4 bathrooms for 3 bedrooms is more than enough. Very clean and spacious house and well equipped.

    I really liked the hotel. It was nice and spacious, lots of places to lie out by the pool and beach. Beach was a 2 minute walk and there is a cute garden with lots of lovely huts to relax in. I think it's a great idea to have pre-loaded watches with money to spend throughout the stay. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was lovely and the cocktails were great!

    Very spacious apartment with a balcony at the front and rear of the property. The pool is an added bonus and there are more than enough sun loungers and umbrellas. The Main Street of Stari Grad is only a 5 minute walk away

    Location was great. Property was very clean and spacious. Courtyard was fantastic and the house was very easy to relax in.     What a fantastic layout for the hotel grounds. A real variety of spaces to relax with an amazing range of beds, loungers and seating to avail of. Beautiful pools and the sea lapping up to the edge of the property. A short walk into the town.

    Excellent stay. Zeljka from the reception and other staff could not be more helpful and kind. Apartment is superb, spacious, comfort, clean. Terrace is exceptional, with hot tube and lots of space to relax. Location is great, in old city, everything is within walking distance. This is definitely place to stay when you visit island Hvar.
