The apartment was amazing! A perfect place to isolate yourself from everyday worries and just relax. The garden is very nicely decorated and the hosts think of the smallest detalis (for example, a few freshly picked twigs of aromatic herbs right next to the hot tub to engage all the senses). The hosts are very lovely people, they brought us a local sweet for breakfast the first morning just because they were making it and their daughter helped us arrange a boat tour of the island. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here and will gladly come back some time again.

Olive Hill is a tranquil, beautiful retreat. There are many spaces to sit and relax outside to eat, enjoy the view, read or just snooze (we did all of those frequently!). Inside, there is plently of room, as well, including a comfy seating area to read or watch TV. We took full advantage of the well-stocked kitchen and fixed many meals (easy with the Tommy supermarket just a few minutes by car down the road). The beds were comfortable, plenty of linens and anything else we needed. The true joy of Olive Hill are the owners, Ivana and Mislav. They are kind, friendly hosts, happy to share the joy and love they feel for their home. It started at the ferry, where Ivana met us and arranged a taxi for the short drive to the house. We were treated to a helpful introduction to the house and island as well as good conversation -- both Ivana and Mislav are very easy to talk with. We knew from reviews that they move out of this house during the summer into a smaller house on the property. That does not interfere in anyway with privacy (the smaller house is tucked below on the hill and you really don't see them much -- they are very respectful not to disturb you during your stay). We also learned that they actually built the house with a great eye towards sustainability -- the house is solar powered, easy with Vis's sunny climate (and there's a back-up generator) and they compost their organic matter directly into their gardens. This was a big bonus for us being like-minded. We also appreciated the information and tips they passed along as far as activities, sites and logisitics. Go with their recommendations -- you won't be disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed a Blue Caves tour they recommended as well as used their local recommendation to rent a car (while you can travel the island via scooter, bus and taxi, for a party of three we really appreciated the ease of having a car).

    The hotel Is in a beautiful old stone building in a very nice location. Near the sea but a quieter part of the old town. We had two rooms, a standard one, which was nice, with a separate lounge area with a sofa and a small bathroom. The other room was at the top and was more spacious with a bigger bathroom and a lovely view. Breakfast was nice and the owners and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also had bikes and free beach towels that we could borrow.

    We loved, in addition to the obvious amazing decor and space, the small details that made a difference. Organic granola in the common space, oat milk, amazing shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, beach towels… and so much more. Kazimir and Lidija thought about every single detail and the price reflects the quality and care guests get when staying here! It was peaceful, spacious and airy room. We loved everything!

    Everything was just perfect! The hosts were so friendly and courteous. They heated up the jacuzzi every day for us and gave us cake and fresh vegetables from their own garden. The apartment is located up the hill from Vis. It takes just 5 minutes by car down to the city. It's super peacefull up there and you can relax very well. The check-in was uncomplicated. We didn't miss anything in the apartment. It was equipped very well. We can recommend home ZLOPOJE highly!

    Beautiful villa, lovely design and features. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and areas to come together. Pool was kept clean with friendly staff. Stunning location, beautiful walks and close to beaches. Quiet and rural which we wanted. We would definitely return and recommend.

    Nice location overlooking Kut and the harbour. Close enough to walk from the ferry but far enough to be relaxed and quiet. Really enjoyed the sunny patio with view. The accommodation was huge with 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, entryway, living room and dining room. Super friendly, relaxed and helpful hosts. Also, amazing value for the space, view and location.

    Absolutely beautiful apartment. Clean, spacious and comfortable with all facilities needed. Two bathrooms is an added bonus. Was able to log onto out Netflix and youtube accounts on the TV which kept the kids happy! Wi-Fi was good and water from the tap was safe to drink. Air conditioning was very much needed and welcomed!

    I loved this apartment, it was so clean & cosy with plenty of space. I absolutely loved the shower, it was massive. The bathroom was spacious & easy for 2 people to get ready at once. The host was really friendly & let us keep our bags there after we checked out, before we got our ferry.
