Room and bathroom with painted walls and a luxury spa bath were much enjoyed. We enjoyed two excellent evening meals in the restaurant overlooking the lake. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit. Place was lovely, nice room with cute cosy balcony, amazing breakfast with so many gluten free/dairy free options (the home made almond cake was to die for!)! The spa was such a nice treat, with sauna, jacuzzi, fire pit and relax room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Finally, we bought the mead and it was delicious! The breakfast was great and had a big variety, even beyond our expectations. It's great to have the option to use the coffee machine and grab some cake beyond breakfast hours. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. Very unique having an enormous shower in the room rather than the bathroom. The breakfast was a bonus, and had a large variety of fresh foods.
