The ruins, restaurants, bars, and the train station are within an easy walking distance. My aching muscles very much appreciated a dip in the hot tub bath after a long day walking! It was nice to sit on the balcony with a freshly brewed coffee first thing in the morning or at the end of the day. Comfy bed and pillows and aircon useful on the hot nights. The room was surprisingly quiet even though we were close to the railway line, I did not hear anything. We did not use the sauna or jacuzzi as the instructions were in Italian but I'm sure if had stayed longer it would have been used.
