The beach had comfortable lounge chairs, and during our stay, the hotel wasn't overcrowded, so it was easy to find a spot to relax. However, during peak season, this might become more difficult. The hotel’s standout feature is its three restaurants, which are the main attraction of the property. The food quality was very good—especially at the sushi restaurant, which offered a unique and enjoyable experience reminiscent of dining in Japan. It's important to note that this experience is only available with a reservation; otherwise, guests are seated in a less appealing area down a hallway near storage spaces, which takes away from the ambiance. Those expecting a traditional Italian culinary experience might be disappointed, as the focus is more international. Service was a mixed experience. In some instances, like our dinner at the Gourmand Risto, the service was exceptional—staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. However, in other areas, such as at breakfast and reception, staff appeared disorganized and unsure of procedures. For example, I had booked a room with two double beds and an added third bed, but was given just two double beds and told it was an “upgrade,” which was not accurate.

Really well appointed and had everything we needed. Weather was atrocious so we weren’t able to explore the area but the cottage was so cosy and comfortable that it didn’t spoil our stay.
