CanadaThe bed was super comfortable and the backyard was very mellow to hang out in at the end of the day. We also loved the chirping frogs. Breakfast was bagels with cream cheese, granola and yogurt, coffee and fresh fruit.

Dogs roaming freely in the garden might be challenging for some guests. However, we love dogs, and the ones in the garden are VERY FRIENDLY.

CanadaIt was further away from Hilo than I realized which made for a lot of driving. The relatively secluded and quiet neighbourhood was very nice. The hot tub was a nice addition. The kitchen, BBQ, and laundry were very well appreciated. We made smoothies with fresh fruit, partly from the yard.

Our room had sea view, but in the morning we could also see Mauna Kea mountain. There was tasty complimentary breakfast provided by hotel and also complimentary drink upon arrival to hotel. There is parking space available at the back of the hostel for the rental car. Only a 10 minute drive from the airport. Friendly staff. Nice common room. Clean bathroom. There is free coffee available in the hostel, but I strongly recommend to also have a coffee from the place across the street!
