This hotel located in St. Ignace features an evening bonfire and marshmallow roast by the beach and an indoor/outdoor pool. Views at Castle Rock are just 5 minutes’ drive away.

Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast selection was good and the staff were always replenishing the food quickly. Very well located for Shepler’s ferry to Mackinaw Island, 6-7 minute walk. The hotel offered discounted ferry tickets and also a shuttle bus to and from the ferry if you preferred to ride. There is a bonfire with s’mores at the lake edge at around 7 each night to end your day.

Set in Saint Ignace, 1.6 km from Kiwanis Beach, Holiday Inn Express St Ignace-Lake Central by IHG offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a casino.

The location was exceptional! Being right on the water you can watch the sun rise over the lake every morning. In the evening, a large firepit was available for anyone to join and only steps from the beach. The grounds were very well maintained and decorated for the fall season. The rooms were super clean as was the indoor pool and all other amenities. Their breakfast was the best with choices of eggs, sausage, different omelets waffles, cold cereal and freshly baked cinnamon buns. Free shuttle to and from the ferry dock to Mackinac Island also.

The breakfast was good, the staff is wonderful, the only thing is that is very old and seems as if it might need some updating. Especially the wood floors, more lighting in bathroom and more places to spread out our toiletries .

Our room had a wonderful view that aligns with the pictures advertised online. The hotel lobby is very classy and the staff were super friendly. The location was close enough to the shops and restaurants that it is only a 5 minute leisurely walk. The room was very bright and clean! It has a pool and hot tub which we used to wind down in the evening. They also took our luggage to and from the Ferry so we did not have to lug it around ourselves.

The breakfast was adequate. But its crowded into a small room. One or two fewer tables in the space would make a big difference.

Our room was very large and clean. The beds were very comfy. The TV was great as well as the WIFI connection. We loved having the Keurig coffee maker and K-cups in the room. We also took advantage of the additional hot cider and hot chocolate K-cups available at the front desk every evening. We enjoyed the large pool and hot tub in the evening after a long day of hiking. Our room faced the pool, but we did not have a problem with loud voices after quiet hours.
