Excellent staff, namely Stephen. Comfortable private room, lovely communal lounge/ kitchen. Extraordinary location, secluded but easy to reach. We would love to come back.

The room was open with louvered windows, letting in the natural breezes. We each had our own bed to sleep in. The outdoor shower was very refreshing, which we enjoyed very much. The bathrooms were kept clean. Receiving a complementary coffee was nice. We appreciated getting to know some of the residents.

A beautiful location just a few dozen meters from the ocean. The sound of the waves was like "beautiful music" to us.
Dogs roaming freely in the garden might be challenging for some guests. However, we love dogs, and the ones in the garden are VERY FRIENDLY.

It was further away from Hilo than I realized which made for a lot of driving. The relatively secluded and quiet neighbourhood was very nice. The hot tub was a nice addition. The kitchen, BBQ, and laundry were very well appreciated. We made smoothies with fresh fruit, partly from the yard.
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
Our host Houston was super friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the local area. A very special place to stay - close to the beach, very remote, sleep with the sound of nature and a lovely hot tub to boot.
What a beautiful place, thank you for sharing it with other people!
We‘ve enjoyed our stay to the max. Everything has been perfect and uncomplicated, from the first contact until the end of our stay.
Stunning views of sunrise and sunset right above the cliffs, usage of the pool and jacuzzi at any time.
The room is equipped with a microwave, a little fridge and a coffee machine.
You don‘t hear much more than the surf and the animals.
The Wild Blue Water is definitely a recommendation and worth a visit!
Breakfast was incredible. Hot tub was beautiful. The porch, living room, dining room and bathroom were all warm and wonderful. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and maintained.
Situated on the side of the house- a very spacious, spotless clean bedroom and huge bathroom. Coffee and tea provided, limited cooking, we ate when out exploring the area. Shops and restaurants about 15min drive away.
My wife and I are a recently retired European couple.
We rented a car and drove down to Wild Blue Water, staying 3 nights in November 2023.
The owner was very welcoming and accommodating about our arrival time.
The guest bedroom in their house is very clean and has a dedicated bathroom adjacent to it in the corridor. The corridor is screened from the owner's own kitchen/lounge area by a curtain.
The bed was comfortable.
Pahoa is at a walkable distance, I do strongly recommend hiring a car to go to the beach/volcano.
The sauna/hot tub area was really nice and readily available for use. The owner is very engaged in developping the property with organic farming and interested in feedback. A group of long-stay hippie style volunteers works and learns here. They all seemed content. Never heard so many birds at night, truly a phenomenon.
On some days there is a possibility to join extatic dance or soundbaths on the premise.
The accommodation was great. Loved the garden room with the sounds of nature. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was a great relaxer at the end of a busy day. Accommodation was close to the volcanoe park and in a great, friendly community close to the beach. Travel was necessary to other parts of the island, which is a normal expectation when visiting Big Island.
The room was amazing! Beautifully appointed with marble floors, massive bathroom with rain forest walk-in shower, jacuzzi tub, automatic toilet/bidet, Great view of ocean, pool and hot tub right outside the door. Secluded location was mostly quiet (see below).
Host was very friendly and accomodating without being intrusive. When I told them we had a daughter and granddaughter nearby they generously offered to have us invite them over to use the pool and hot tub.
A beautiful bungalow in a quiet street in Pahoa. Perfect for a solo or couple to relax and recharge.
I felt extremely safe, and Abbie was a very welcoming and kind host.
The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette and bathroom had everything I needed, and the place was well stocked and clean.
The lanai was my favourite and I spent many hours reading and relaxing out there.
