The spring water in the hot tub has an exceptionally high mineral content as evidenced by its chemical reactions with copper and silver jewelry I wear. It soothed my muscles and I also felt it thickened and softened my beard.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and informative. For historic building, the rooms were on the smaller side but the accommodations were clean and nice. Breakfast is free and nice. the outdoor hot tub is a wonderful feature all year around

The main attraction of this hotel is it's location, and that it delivers in spades. You are basically in Hot Springs National Park -- so it is definitely worth it. We went there for the dinosaur museum, which was close and great! But the park was a really welcome surprise. We did not do any spa, hot tub, etc. activities so can't comment on that.
