A huge thank you to Gabi, Bea, and the rest of the team for making us feel so welcomed. Their amazing guidance helped us make the most of our time on Ilha Grande. They provided excellent hiking tips, recommended beautiful beaches to visit, and suggested outstanding restaurants to enjoy. The breakfast and afternoon tea were added bonuses that we looked forward to every day. Our stay was one we won't forget.

Located on Praia Pequena da Freguesia de Santana beach, this guest house is surrounded by rich Atlantic Forest. It offers a rustic-style restaurant and bar, outdoor pool and hot tub. This place is a true paradise. It's a little off the beaten path - coming from Rio, it was a 3 hour car ride followed by a 30 minute boat - but once you get there, it has absolutely everything you need. The hotel provides tons of beach toys and activities, along with chairs and towels. They also have a great restaurant and bar, which includes a great breakfast every morning. And the staff could not be nicer!

Just 400 metres from Abraão Beach, Riacho dos Cambucás is a rustic-style hotel. It features panoramic views of Ilha Grande's tropical forest. The property is a quiet and beautiful garden oasis just few blocks beyond the town center.

Pousada Refúgio Do Capitão er staðsett í Praia de Araçatiba, nokkrum skrefum frá Aracatiba, og býður upp á gistingu með heitum potti, eimbaði og baði undir berum himni. Great location right next to the beach! Adama our host was incredibly helpful & so friendly. He helped to organise our boats and trips and negotiated cheaper prices. He did our washing too for no extra charge.

Flats do Pe na Areia er með svalir og er staðsett í Abraão, í innan við 500 metra fjarlægð frá Abraao-ströndinni og 1,4 km frá Preta-ströndinni. The flat felt brand new and was amazing! The view from the bedroom was gorgeous! And despite being 8min walk from the city centre, we felt inside of the forest. The bathtub is huge, way bigger than it looked in the pictures. And bedding was spotless clean and so comfortable. Even the lightning was great, in that cozy yellow tone.

Casa Grande Flats er með útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn og býður upp á gistirými með svölum, í um 300 metra fjarlægð frá Abraao-ströndinni. It’s a perfect place—comfortable, calm, well-located—and José is a really kind and helpful host.

Recanto dos Lima er staðsett í Ilha Grande og býður upp á blak- og fótboltavelli, útisundlaug og garðsvæði. Það býður upp á ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet og daglegt morgunverðarhlaðborð á veitingastaðnum. I loved everything about the property. Seriously such a beautiful place to stay. Very secluded. Feels like you’re at home !
