It was a very quiet, simple but comfortable room. You can reach the city center in 5 minutes by foot. On our first night we could even witness a neighbourhood/street festivity. Our room was equipped with two wide beds, two fans a bench to put our stuff and a private bathroom.

The pools (yes, plural!) are an oasis of relaxation, and floating in the cool water while surrounded by endless desert landscapes is an experience I’ll never forget. This is the perfect spot to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life. No distractions, just peace, tranquility, and the magic of the desert. The attention to detail, from the pristine cleanliness of the rooms to the thoughtful amenities, speaks volumes about the love and care Lucila and her family pour into this place. Offering an outdoor portable pool and views of the garden, Dunas Tatacoa is located in Villavieja. Neiva is 34 km away. Free private parking is available on site. The beds were so comfortable, we couldn't believe we were sleeping in a tent. The breakfast was delicious. The boy at the reception was very helpful and helped us organize a tuk-tuk driver for Tatacoa since we only had one they there. The common areas were relaxing and the location was close to the desert aswell as to the city centre. The night guard let us hang our washed clothes on the rack so they could dry.
