The hosts, Marie and Jeff, were incredibly elegant and welcoming, making our stay even more special. I honestly felt like a princess there, surrounded by such beauty and warmth. And let’s not forget Rex, their charming cat, who is truly the king of the castle! In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the beautiful banquet hall, and Marie treated us to a wonderful Easter cake, which made the experience even more memorable. The castle is located near the stunning Verdon Gorge and Lake Sainte-Croix, making it a perfect choice for anyone planning to explore the area. If you’re looking for a peaceful and historic place to stay, Le Vieux Castle is the ideal getaway.

Everything! With some past experiences not so very pleasant in France, we were a bit woried about this one, how it will be. We were more than pleasantly suprises by this experience: the owners changed our opinion about french people, incredibly nice and ready to help us in any mode we needed. The house...is a museum!!! Much nices than in the pictures, everything is arranged in detail. The pool and the jacuzzi are a gem, also very clean! The village is nice, and very close to Valensole, Verdon Gorge and lake. All in all, a 10 star experience in a small traditional village of Provence!
