Very attentive, and friendly. Very knowledgeable, and helped us navigate the island. The location was great. Beautiful island to bike ride around . The breakfast was delicious. Fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, and homemade jam. Loved it.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay at Maison de la Dune. Florence and Remy are wonderful, kind and interesting hosts with lots of knowledge about the island, restaurants, beaches, and more. The pool area and terrace was a lovely quiet place to sit and read, and swim in the heated pool. Our room was comfortable and clean and looked out to the meticulously maintained garden. The breakfasts were made with such care and served beautifully making for a gentle and easy start to the day. We found the location ideal because the guest house is so close to the network of bike paths and a long white sand beach. We rented excellent electric bikes from Florence and Remy which allowed us to see a lot of the island during our three day stay. We hope to return for another stay at Maison de la dune in the future and highly recommend it.

The property was perfect for our family of 4. The outdoor space was great with lots of different options for different times of the day, and for our children to play. The kitchen had everything we needed too as well as comfortable beds and a great bathroom.

This was a one night stopover on the way back from Spain to Caen. We could easily have stayed longer. Sophie kindly showed us the main places to visit during our short stay, and we ate in Saint Martin de Rey, caught the sunset at the lighthouse, and visited La Flotte before leaving. Beautiful island and we will visit again.

Being late October there didn't seem to be any problems walking our dogs over the dunes and beach, both sides of the island.

Le Phare se nachází v Les Portes-en-Ré, 30 metrů od pláže, a nabízí 2 vyhřívané bazény, z nichž jeden je krytý. We arrived at the campsite very late and we were welcome by Ben, so friendly and helpful, brought us to our mobile home and brought us back to the campsite restaurant on his buggy. We were exhausted from the travelling so it was very nice of him to do so. The mobile home was very clean and modern, has everything you need, inside and outside, to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The facilities onsite were amazing, for kids and for adults ! very close to the beach and the shop. The bus stop is also very near (as we did not hire bikes nor did we rent a car) The restaurant at the campsite was fabulous, lovely food and breakfast to order, which Jimmy & Lilly were just lovely to us ! They have a separate little area also with a bar and outdoors seats, which was lovely too !
