Offering a spa centre, sauna and hot tub, Maritim Hotel Plaza Tirana is situated in Tirana in the Tirana County Region, 200 metres from Skenderberg Square.

We stayed in double room 1810 from 10-15 April. It had a great view out of the (dirty!) windows and was very quiet. The location is excellent for tourists with everything on your doorstep within walking distance so we didn’t need a car. There are taxis waiting right outside the hotel. A kettle was in the room (but no coffee machine, so only instant coffee could be made - and milk or cream is NOT provided). I messaged the hotel to inquire if there was an iron in the room as there was no mention of it in the description and it was delivered to the room in advance of my arrival. Housekeeping cleaned the room very well, but didn’t replace the teabags and left only one bottle of complimentary water each day even though it’s a double room occupied by two people ! The breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold with a variety of delicious bread and fresh fruit.

I had a good stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptionally kind and welcoming. The receptionist was attentive and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast. It was fantastic— well home-made prepared, fresh and diverse, and served personally by the owner, which made it feel extra special. You can truly see how much care and attention the owner puts into it. I also really enjoyed the restaurant on the terrace, which offered a lovely atmosphere—perfect for relaxing and enjoying a meal with a view on the surroundings. The room was impeccable and super clean, with thoughtful little touches like complimentary minted water that were so charming. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm atmosphere, excellent service, and a memorable breakfast experience. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.
