Just a 5-minute metro ride from the Stephansplatz square right in the heart of Vienna, the eco-labeled Hotel Spiess & Spiess is located in a quiet backstreet.

The location is great - close to train station to get anywhere including centre of town (only a couple of stations) and Old Town. Customer service was friendly and helpful. The sauna is a great facility and adjoining relaxation area was super clean and well equipped.

Everything in the hotel was more than wonderful, from the cleanliness of the place, the welcoming reception, the hotel service, the speed of response and assistance. It was our first visit to the hotel and it will not be the last, as the hotel is luxurious and upscale, and we enjoyed everything in it.

Everything was great except air in the room. It's like there's no oxygen and AC brings filtered and bad air.

    Clean, warm, and tidy room, friendly and helpful staff, close to Gasometer metro station (approx. 7 mins walk), safe neighbourhood, satisfactory breakfast, fast check-in/-out, supermarket(s) next/close to the hotel. Overall, it is ideal (at least) for a short stay (value for money, especially during off-season).

    Exceptionally clean, it was cleaned everyday by the staff. Attention to detail. Very good breakfast. The staff was very kind and they facilitated our stay (they let us leave our luggage in the hotel until our room was ready, but also after our check out). The station gasometer is only 10 minutes away from stephansplatz, and there is McDonald's like 3 minutes away. The room was spacious, with a lot of space for luggage.
