We had a great stay here. The interior and facilities are new. The room is quiet and clean. With washing machine and kitchen, it’s very convenient for laundry and cooking.
Experience the epitome of convenience at Mary MacKillop Place. Ideally located in the heart of North Sydney, a short train journey from Sydney’s city center.

The menu at the hotel was very limited. Coffee was not available before 7 am and between 10 am and when the bar opened, which was between 12 and 12:30, though was posted for 12 noon.

A must is the view from Circular Quay Railway station, its th best free view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Harbour and Opera House. (Local secret if you want an even better view) head towards the Oprah house as you get to the lsat ferry wharf under the Cahill express way you'll see a lift that looks like it goes nowhere, but it takes you up to the Cahill Expressway. from there you'll have 360 degree views of Sydney city, bridge and harbour.

Ferries, trains, trams, buses to anywhere you like.
Ferries, trains, trams, buses to anywhere you like. Download the public transport app to plan your trip. Oh and the bridge the opera house and if you're lucky one of those massive cruise ships will be in. They are like floating cities, quite a sight. There's usually some street entertainment in the area too.

It’s a bit of walking.
It’s a bit of walking. Especially if you are going to the opera house as well. So travel light. If you have small kids (or a tired Grandma) take one of those fold up beach trolleys ($75 from Kmart) those things are priceless when lugging kids and stuff around! (And tired Grandmas)

Everything is a stone throw from the Quay view Opera House, walk over Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Botanical Gardens, Lady Macquarie's Chair visit the historical Rocks have a beer in the oldest pubs in Sydney a few claim to be.
Macquarie Street is a walk up the road there is an amazing amount of history in this street, the first signs from penal colony to a colony, might be best during the week where you can access some of the buildings.
If none of that suits just sit and enjoy the worldof circular key coffee and watching the world go by

We had a beautiful one bedroom apartment with a balcony. The location was perfect! The Circular Quay, the botanical gardens, and the Sydney Tower Eye were all just a 10 minute walk away. There is a Woolworths grocery store at 60 Margaret but it is difficult to locate. Take the escalator down two levels.
The hotel is 5 to 10 min walk to the port terminal, circular quay trains, opera house and proximity to the city center. Our room was available early, breakfast buffet was with lots of varieties. I didnt appreciate the lack of international news on TV.
The view of Sydney Harbour from our room was fabulous! Could see the Domain and the top sails of the Opera House. Easy walk to Botanical Gardens and Art Gallery, St Mary’s Cathedral. City Bus to Bondi, Circular Quay, and shopping just in front of Hotel. Bonus! The steam room great to unwind and relax. Staff were all extremely helpful.
Elizabeth 202 is located right near central train station and a short walk to the tram line. Perfect for getting down to Pitt street or circular quay and all the restaurants in the city. The beds were very comfortable, has a very warm inviting feel to the hotel. Breakfast was simple and delicious.
The onsite restaurant and the check in staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our room had the view of the opera house which is a plus.
The location of the hotel is great since it is close to the circular quay, the ferry and the cruise terminal.
The in room Nespresso machine is definitely a plus for us.
The Hyatt Regency is on Darling Harbour, which is well located within walking distance of the ferries at both Barrangeroo and Circular Quay, as well as the Opera House, NSW State Library, and shopping district. The hotel staff fulfilled my request for a higher floor and harbour view. The room was refreshed daily, with perfection. After staying four nightmarish nights at the rundown Adina Apartments Darling Harbour, it was pure pleasure to stay another six nights at a real hotel and in a beautiful room.
Location, location, location.
Beautiful cosy apartment, very secluded and peaceful with lovely neighbours.
Lovely courtyard to enjoy reading, painting and a kids playground straight out the back gate which was perfect.
Walking distance to Balmain East Wharf and Simmons point for NYE Fireworks.
Would recommend to anyone wanting convenience to ferries, darling harbour, Circular Quay etc.
Beds were really comfortable.
The hotel staff were fantastic and friendly. They all genuinely cared about the experience of their guests and couldn't have been more helpful. While this hotel wasn't close to the center of Sydney don't be turned off. The bus picks up right in front of the hotel that takes you right to Central Station and the trip is quick. Just be careful to note where to pick up the bus in town for the return trip. Also, an easy 20 minute walk to the train station, which will take you all the way to Circular Quay. Great hotel, great value!
Excellent location, close to all public transport, whether bus, light rail or train. Close to Circular Quay, the Rocks, the Opera House, the Bridge and the city. Spacious apartment. Great pool and sauna and spa and gym facilities.
Location was fantastic. Short walk to Circular Quay to see opera house and ride ferries. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal. Service impeccable. Room spacious, beds super comfortable, like living in a high end apartment.
