The Hotel Kutuma is less than a 10-minute drive from Old Montreal and is just over half a mile from the Plateau-Mont-Royal neighborhood.

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. There are a lot of cafes nearby, it's near Mont Royal and there is a metro station nearby.

This modern hotel in central Montreal features a free espresso bar in its hall and WiFi in all rooms. In-room massage and spa services are also offered.

Everything-a great hotel. The New York Times recommended this hotel in a travel article and I totally agree with their recommendation.

There is St Laurent, below Sherbrooke and Above Sherbrooke.

There is St Laurent, below Sherbrooke and Above Sherbrooke. Below -south direction there is a more seedy section and also falls into Chinatown, then Old Montreal..Above Sherbrooke, you have lots of Nightclubs around Prince Arthur where the young congregate....and Butcher shops, Bakeries, Cheese stores and eventually Portugal Square, around which Leonard Cohen lived.
