During our trip in China we always experienced great hospitality, but the staff in Riverside Inn was particularly kind and ready with every request (we asked for takeaway breakfast on our last day 5 minutes before leaving and they arranged it in zero time, awesome). Also we were supposed to get a room without a view on the river, but since there was such a room available they upgraded ours to a room with view without any additional fee.
Right opposite Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, formerly Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, is located in the city centre.

Authentic decor, very clean, quiet room on the 4th floor, tea corner w lake view. The reception staff speaks perfect English, uncommon in China., even in 4 , 5 star hotels , at the airport, it is quite challenging to communicate.
Thank you to all staff for the wonderful service. A special thanks to Zhuge n another lady in cream Columbia jacket for all the help. We would come back n highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Guilin Village creek In. Michelle and her Family are so nice, friendly and michelle speaks english very well! We also rent two bikes at the hotel directly. Highly recommendated!
