Elegant Boutiquehotel in Berlin's Mitte district just a 5-minute walk from the Friedrichstraße shopping mile.

The design and atmosphere were very calming and welcoming. Staff always had a smile on their face and thought about the guests needs. The breakfast was delicious!

Along with free WiFi, the 3 star superior Hotel Nikolai Residence offers rooms in an extremely central location just a 10-minute walk from Alexanderplatz Square.

We had a great stay at Hotel Nikolai Residence. The staff were very friendly and gave us helpful recommendations for places to visit and eat. The location is excellent—close to many sights and just a short walk to the Alexanderplatz train station, which made it easy to get around the city. Even though it's in the center of Berlin, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

    Amazing sight in day or night.

    Amazing sight in day or night. Nice seating on the riad/area leading up to the gate & easy access to Reichstag & River walk as well as the long road to the victory column - all worth a visit!

    Grab a table at the cafe outside the Adlon and just sit for...

    Grab a table at the cafe outside the Adlon and just sit for a bit with a drink and a snack - or have a meal; the food is great. Read up on the history and pay attention to the lines of the Cold War era walls in this area. - There's a great photo just inside the Adlon entrance that has the disabled ramp to really help you see where the walls were with relation to the Gate.

    The staff were very welcoming and had a good sense of humour. The value of the hotel was very good and for a night in the city it was fine. We were able to get taxis easily. Walking to the Brandenburg gate took around 20mins & was a pleasant walk.

We had a Business Plus room and the room size was good and the shower pressure fantastic Very few restaurants nearby and no bars apart from hotel bars but the Zollpackhof Restaurant was a 10 minute walk away and exceptional

    What a bargain. This hotel was excellent for the price. Its location I’d wonderful. Easy walk to the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie and the Jewish Museum. The room was small but very clean and quiet. Bed was quite comfortable. Parking garage under the building was clean and secure. Perfect for my husband and I.

  • I was there to attend performances at the opera Staaatsoper...

    I was there to attend performances at the opera Staaatsoper am Schiller theater. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the theater. There is a grocery store about 7-8 minutes from the hotel and another one about the same distance in another direction. It is about 30 minute walk to the Victory Column and an additional 30 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate and various memorials. Great flea/art market on Sundays (not sure if it is open on Saturdays). Deutsch Oper subway station is about 10 minute walk but I was always walking. Charlottenburg Palace is about 15 minutes away walking.
