A 25-minute walk from Granada’s Alhambra, Hotel Párraga Siete is set in a charming 19th-century building in the old town. It offers stylish rooms and an à la carte restaurant.

The hotel location is great, right at the city center. The room was very, very clean and so were the towels and bed linens. The hotel has modern decor and new furniture. The price is great for the quality of the room, I have paid way more for hotel rooms that were half as decent as this one. The receptionists were very friendly and allowed us to store our luggage in the hotel past the checkout time, which was greatly appreciated.

Albaicin

Can you count the shells? This 16th-century palace is covered in the things. It was built by Don Rodrigo Arias de Maldonado, a knight of the Order of Santiago de Compostela. The symbol of this order is the seashell, and he decided that it’d be rather splendid to have them all over his palace. The result is the magnificent Casa de Conchas, a seashell-studded marvel.

    Wonderful experience and wonderful views.

Wonderful experience and wonderful views. It is up quite a steep hill. We went on foot but you can also catch one of the small red buses, certainly C32 - I think that there is another one as well. Head for St Nicholas square and you will see a view to die for!

Enjoyed exploring the maze of alleys, got lost a few times but that's ok. We acquired several street maps, the best for us was the one given to us by the tourist office. Good views from Pl.Carvajales and Pl.S.Nicolas.

Whether you're inside Alhambra, or looking at it from the outside; it is awe inspiring. Some of the best views of the Alhambra are from the Albaicin neighbourhood. And while the Mirador San Nicholas is the more popular places, head up further to Mirador San Miguel. Admittedly, it is a bit of a climb. But the climb is completely worth it. Don't forget to soak in the beauty of the neighbourhood as you're walking though. It is as beautiful

The Albaicin, or more correctly Albayzin, is the old muslim part of the town. Very atmospheric is however a place to be avoided after sunset, especially by women. At anytime stay away from the area around Mirador San Nicolas, where pickpockets abound.

What a lovely place to walk around and explore.

What a lovely place to walk around and explore. At night there's the hustle and bustle of the shops lower down the hill, but walk a little bit up you end up in alleys and gorgeous doorways. Also glimpses of the Alhambra at night. Perfect for a great photo in some location. We also climbed higher during the day and had a great view of the city.

Use the application GPSmycity for a wonderful self-guided tour in Albaicin. Go with the bus to the highest point and hike down the area for amazing views and cultural impressions of the old arab houses. Finish your tour with a Flamenco show at one of the Gipsies Caves in ElSacramonte. You will have one of the remarkables days of your lifes.

The location was beautiful - in the middle of Albaicín and walking distance to Mirador de San Nocolas. The view that allowed us to see the Alhambra was just stunning. The building was from the 15th century which Meade used to feel grateful. The apartment was spacious and had everything needed. The staff was also helpful and kind. They kept our luggage after check out.

Excellent location to visit Alhambra, right next to the entrance. A bit far from the town center, Sacromonte, Albaicin, but there are buses that connect you fast to the places of interest with the station close to the hotel. If you buy your Granada card on line, the MyTours office is next door. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Good breakfast & parking deal.

Apartments 1 and 2 do not offer a direct view of the Alhambra, whereas Apartments 3 and 4 do. However, you can access the terrace to capture some breathtaking photos. The property is located across from the San Nicolás viewpoint in the Albaicín district, which is quite hilly. Location is accessible by bus C32 (from 07:00 to 23:00) or by taxi.

It was the best place we could imagine. The location is amazing. It's in the center, so you can just start visiting Albaicín from there. The apartment is spacious, clean and modern. Easy and quick contact with owners, they were also very helpful. There's a free parking available 10 min walking from there, because it's an old town and you can't park next tot the building. But it's possible to drive to the door for a moment to leave luggage. We would choose it again if we come back to Granada.

Lovely apartment but would say that stairs up to bedroom are wooden and quite slippy with no handrail so problematic for elderly guests. Journey to apartment was tricky as we were driving the very narrow streets of Albaicin - not for the faint hearted! Or large cars! Overall very nice stay

Had a good location although no cars or cabs can reach it so you have to lug your luggage up a street or so. Very hard to locate in a nondescript older building without any signage. The Albaicin is a great place to stay so do look for other hotels around the area and make sure they have working lifts!

The apartment was beautiful with ample light from windows on both sides of the space, offering views of the Alhambra Palace and the Sierra Nevada mountains in the distance. The courtyard garden and roof terrace were exquisite, inviting you to gaze at the spectacular views and roof scape of the magical Albaicin district. The location was quiet yet perfectly located. Raul, our host was certainly a ‘super host’ in his care, attentiveness and warmth of welcome. Thank you Raul for such a memorable stay in your beautiful city.

We had a lovely apartment with a view of the Alhambra- the whole hotel has a charming historical air, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent as a base to visit the Alhambra and the Albaicin, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. We got around on foot, the train station is a comfortable half an hour walk away with many interesting sights along the way, a good option to consider if you travel light.
