I thought this was a hotel, not a hostel. As a hostel, it might have been fine, but I had no intention of staying in a hostel.. I arrived after 16 hours and I had to open the door with a code in the rain. Drag my luggage upstairs. Open another door with a code drag. My luggage into what looked like a library, there was no one like a concierge or a baggage person.. I found my room, the coffee machine didn't work. There was no food, no place to eat and it was not what I was expecting... It was clean and the manager. Was very kind and attentive and helpful and the location.That was excellent, but I didn't see anything in my booking.That indicated that this was a hostel and not a hotel.. So if you're looking for a hotel, this might be okay.. But I wasn't looking for a hotel. I expected to have breakfast in the morning. I expected to have room service. I expected to be able to get a cup of coffee if I wanted and after a 16 hour flight, it was pretty disappointing to have none of these

Staff are lovely, location is great. Rooms are a bit small and the sink area in the bathroom also - very small. Very comfortable beds.
The Regina has a superb location in the heart of Madrid, next to the famous Puerta del Sol and 328 feet from Sevilla metro station. It offers a rich breakfast, and free Wi-Fi access.
