Recently refurbished and clean. Bed - very comfortable and shower wonderful. Lovely soft towels and good bed linen.
The location is in the very centre of Liverpool, so really convenient. Even though central, School Lane is quiet - that and my room being on the 5th floor meant my stay was very peaceful. The hotel is also very discreet - you don't have to pass through reception when you enter - you can go straight up to the floor where your room is.
Set in an historical industrial building, The Resident Liverpool offers modern rooms with kitchenettes. With free Wi-Fi and HD TVs, the hotel is located in the vibrant RopeWalks district.

The hotel is great. It is an old building that has been lovingly restored, with a nice design sense. The location is very central and could hardly be better. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and bed were very comfortable and clean--with a kitchenette and large flat-screen TV.

The room was comfortable in in the midst of the soccer craziness which is what we wanted. We went to the Liverpool game.
Anfield
“This is Anfield”. Three simple words welcome nervous visiting teams to the home of Liverpool FC, England’s most decorated football club. Touch the famous tunnel sign as you enter this revered arena on a stadium tour. However, you can’t beat real match-day euphoria. Join the red sea of scarves in the Kop stand for a spine-tingling chorus of “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.

Nice enough stadium, large enough but the fans severely lack atmosphere. Also a hard language to understand while guarding your pockets from the local tea le*fs. Decent side with a small lad Ben Doak by far the outstanding world talent on show..!!!

Great service with excellent staff.
Great service with excellent staff. Stadium was hard to find but with some help from locals and fantastic bus drivers, achieved a lovely but somewhat amazing visit. The stadium is so much better than I could have imagined.

Take a bus ride (#17) up to Walton Road to visit a pub there...
Take a bus ride (#17) up to Walton Road to visit a pub there if you want a feel for the 'true' Liverpool. Try this on match day, either Anfield Stadium or Everson Stadium, which are a few blocks up the hill. Don't book the King Harry's(now the Brownlow) for rooms, you'll regret it. See if you can find a room at the St. Hilda. Also the Springfield Inn. You will find a lot of karioke, and a little live music. There is a great spacious, english-style, pub-restaurant just down the road. There is a great big park next to Anfield Stadium. Find the Leeds Canal and take a long walk back toward Liverpool. There are no deralict men pretending to be homeless in anfield.

Not even a liverpool fan but went with a mate who is. Absolutely incredible atmosphere, class fans - the buzz in the pubs near the ground was worth the trip alone. No club/city/fans ive seen do it better

I thought they were going to be fans watching a match day...
I thought they were going to be fans watching a match day around the stadium but I took a bus to see the bars around a match game of Liverpool playing as a visitor. However no crowds no people bara closed and the few bars had 2 or 3 old folks watching the game. This fan base stinks! Liverpool FC is garbage

One night to stay on a good value, clean facilites
The apartment is a small room but got everything you need, fast response from the host
Anfield is a 35-40minute walk
Instant cofee and kettle available,
bring your own tea if you prefer that
Staff was great. Specifically Isadora. Very helpful and was a great host for a first time hostel goer like myself. Rooms were cozy and a short walk away from Anfield. Free WiFi worked well, had plenty hot water, clean bathrooms, beds with curtain. I had a great stay. Amazing value.
Spotlessly clean looked brand new
10 minutes walk from lime street
Bus to Anfield stops just around the corner
Good communication via email and what's app with the hotel
Quiet area - No student noise
Plenty of storage in room
Lift if required although only 3 floors
Would definitely stay again
We booked this hotel because it is close to Anfield. We arrived before the check-in time, and the owner had been informed in advance. The owner was responsive.
I loved the room, and the proximity to Anfield. There is a cafe and a bar right next door.
My room was gorgeous, bed was very comfortable and the bath was immaculate.
Building is less than 5 minute walk to Anfield park. I particularly enjoyed watching fans get to the game and stream out of the park.
Hotel staff accommodated my bags after check out and went to the game. I really appreciated that.
City centre is about 10 minute drive or 15 minute bus ride away
Great location, close to Liverpool lime street station.
In front of Christmas market of the city. Staff very friendly and helpful you can ask the staff to open an emergency exit to access directly from the hotel to rail station 😀.
If you want to attend the football match at anfield, the express bus No.917 almost opposite the hotel.
The staff we interacted with were incredibly nice. The room ended up being a newly refurbished, two bedroom apartment, we were really able to relax while we were there. A nice change from some of the smaller hotel rooms. The hotel was within walking distance to both Goodison Park and Anfield. We walked downhill to the Everton match we attended, great place to stay if you're attending a game.
Location was a 5 min walk to Anfield Stadium, which was our sole reason for choosing this hotel. Had I known that Anfield arranges shuttle buses to city center after events, I would have chosen hotel differently. Check stadium website.
Staff, and in fact everyone we met in Liverpool, were extremely nice.
The location was brilliant for visiting Anfield. My son is a big Liverpool supporter so he loved the LFC decor it was done very well. Although work being done staff were very accommodating and the hotel was still spotless during work. Staff were great , the night staff Stevie was very friendly and very attentive. We will stay again. 😁
This lovely Liverpool FC themed hotel is situated 100meters from Anfield Stadium and was ideal for the Stadium tour that i wanted to do.
Emma and her staff made us feel very welcome, and had plenty helpful tips on Bus services and Routes.
The Beds were very cosy and the executive family room was just perfect for our family mid-term break.
