The location of the hotel was perfect, which is why I chose it. I did not realize it was part of the red carnation chain, which is always an excellent choice in hotels.
This 5-star London hotel is quietly located next to Hyde Park, Marble Arch and Lancaster Gate Tube Station. The hotel offers breath-taking views of the famous London skyline.

Everyone was amazing at the hotel. The staff went out of their way to be kind. Even left a note and some candy for my husband running the half marathon ! Great overall experience.

Love it! It's an attraction both for children and adults! Beautiful unique animals. You can see that staff are very responsible taking care for each and every creature. There is also A section for butterflies flying freely, you must visit it.

Excellent day out.
Excellent day out. Long walk from Regent's Place through the park if you have kiddies. Better to hop a bus that drops you outside the door. Spend all day here - don't try to cram it into a couple of hours. Watch out for the schedules for feeding times etc, and plan your route accordingly - it's all posted on line, so you can do it in advance.

As a former US zookeeper, I have to say that it was clear that care of the animals, not "business" is the priority. I applaud them for that! Most, exhibits were large, clean & natural looking with an abundance of hiding places for the animals and access to their sleeping quarters. Never saw the lions but the exhibit must be wonderful for them. There is however is a deciduous tree on the far elevated side that looks like it could be used for escape (or entry), if desired, as it looks to extend over the cement habitat wall. Collection & physical plant is much smaller than I imagined for London.
