Overall the stay was excellent with great location. However, as area of improvement, the deposit was a little higher than expected. Also, more options in SPA will be better.

Tower of London
The Tower of London has hosted feast and folly for centuries. Founded by William the Conqueror in 1066, every tower has its own (often bloody) history. Lady Jane Grey, Colonel Blood, Henry VIII and some of his tragic wives were among its famous residents. Search for their ghostly spectres that allegedly haunt the grounds, or play it safe by viewing the 23,000 Crown Jewels.

Reserve in advance to save time. Plan a few hours to do this visit and get the tour with one of the Beefeaters in traditional dress, they are real serving soldiers and have great stories to tell. Well worth the entrance fee.

Our guide was a mine of information and anecdotes about the chequered history of the tower. The Tower is a microcosm of English history _ gruesome and majestic in equal parts . You could easily spend four _ five hours there.

You can spend the whole day there.
You can spend the whole day there. There is a lot to see and a lot of history to experience. It is impressive. Tip: you don't need to spend 5 pounds on the audio guide. It doesn't work well and visiting the Tower without a guide is amazing as well

Good to get there early as so much to see and can easily spend a whole day there. If you're into the gory bits, I'd visit the exhibit on torture early as tends to be a queue; the same applies to the Crown jewels. Interesting history of animals being kept here before they moved to London Zoo - good exhibition on in 2023.

Book tickets in advance- saves time and you get a 30 min slot. You will need quite a bit of time, and if you can- def listen to the Yeoman guides. They know so much.
Mulled wine in the cafe is also very good!

The architecture and history there were amazing, but be prepared to walk a lot of hills and steps. We enjoyed seeing the crown jewels and were lucky there wasn't too much of a queue to get in to see them. We are older and a bit out of shape, so we found the steps and hills to be a little much for us so we did not see it all, but what we did see was very impressive.

The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. The location was perfect for walking to many places (Tower of London, St. Paul’s, the Tate Modern—and across the street from the Barbican). The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options.
Excellent location, 10 min walk to tube, Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Very friendly staff, greeted with glass of Prosecco. Rooms very comfortable, spacious and clean. Wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely go back.
Good location, close walk to river and tower of london, everything else is easily accessible by bus. Financial district so it was quiet at night (only downside is most food shops in the vicinity closed early on weekends). Easy to check in and front doors were always locked. Apartment itself was clean and spacious lots of space with great kitchen essentials and in unit laundry!
Nice hotel. The location is really great - less than a minute walking to Aldgate underground station and close to some attractions, like the tower of London and the tower bridge.
The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel, so cannot rate it.
Very close to the Thames clipper. I recommend getting a day pass in advance, much better deal. But just 10 mins or so to Tower of London that way. We saw all the central sites via the clipper. We had the triple room with our 6 year old and we had our own bathroom with a large shower. Complimentary tea/coffee/cereal and porridge in the morning is a nice addition as is free street parking. Super close to Greenwich as well for a Thames themed day.
Loved the modern set-up, iPad, scheduling cleaning, really cute room. Very nice and helpful staff. Walk 50 feet to tube. Amazing location. Right across from Tower of London. Beautiful HUGE lobby with newspapers, magazines, conversational areas.

The actual Tower of London, the actual Tower Bridge, the actual castles and cathedrals are all still in place, even after the Nazi bombs and rockets of WWII. Even the "Jack the Ripper" tour retraces some of the same steps in the same alleyways of that villian. The timeless Thames still flows through by wharves and piers, and under the same bridges as it did centuries ago.
