Loved staying here. The beautiful staff were exceptional in their professionalism and kindness. The room and bed were very comfortable. The location cannot be beaten. One suggestion: use the heaters on the rooftop for cold mornings.

Acropolis
Long before it became known as Bloomfield Falls, this magnificent waterfall was called Wujal Wujal by the indigenous Kuku Yalanji people. Hire a guide and learn why these people still consider Wujal Wujal to be sacred. Or just head down with your 4x4 and a picnic hamper, and have lunch in serious style!

Coming early is key.
Coming early is key. I visited in March (winter season) and by 10 am, there was already a crowd inside of the Acropolis, at the only path to the Parthenon. Fortunately the crowd was not large, but I'd say it was a bit large for this time of the year. As for the toilets, they are outside of the sight, and once you leave the sight, there's no re-entering it with the same ticket. So make sure to go to the toilet before entering the sight.

Magnificent. Go as early as you can to avoid the crowds.
Magnificent. Go as early as you can to avoid the crowds. Hat, comfy shoes, and water are necessary. I went once around the spring festival and it was amazing. Everyone with flowers in their hair and celebrations everywhere. Visit the fabulous new museum after you have been to the Acropolis.

No trip to Athens would be complete without visiting the Acropolis, and it certainly lived up to the hype. Standing in front of the Parthenon, surrounded by ancient ruins, was a humbling experience. The view of the city from atop the hill is breathtaking, and it’s easy to imagine the grandeur of ancient Athens.

There is no words to add for the Acropolis, however please mind to buy tickets at the Acropolis entrance which cost just 10 euros or at the official acropolis tickets website, rather than having them bought online in third party sites which cost almost double.

The site is incredible but I felt it lacked the luster that I expected as far as detailed historical information. Yes, there were plaques and signs, bur I suppose I wanted more than was available. If you want detailed information, definitely buy the guided tour.

Bring lots of water, go early in the day to avoid crowds, hold on to ropes and poles as the marble steps are very slippery, do not touch any of the monument, there is a very fresh from springs water fountain on the top, there's a water bottle dispenser however it only takes coins, if approached by someone for a tour versus obtaining a tour ahead of time, be prepared about the price and the clarity of their language. Besides that the Acropolis is amazing and if you can and you have gone early in the day, try to sit and imagine that this is in the area of where democracy written history philosophy mathematics begin. Other than parts of it Asia of course.

Not a luxurious hotel but such good value. Right in the centre of Athens. Just a short walk to Monastiraki Square where there's a lot of restaurants and a metro station. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Some rooms have balconies with views of Acropolis. Very nice rooftop bar with even better view of Acropolis. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in Athens.
Lovely bright apartment in the centre of Athens with an amazing view of the Acropolis day and night.
Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and within walking distance to all the top sites, we could actually see the changing of the guard from the balcony
Communication with the host was easy, and any questions asked were replied to instantly
Would recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of visiting Athens
+ Very nice and spatious room
+ Many sights in Athens (such as Acropolis and Archaeological Museum) can be reached by foot, and there is a direct tram connection to Piraeus
+ Despite the central location, it is mostly quiet around the hotel (except on Friday nights)
The property was in a perfect location, so conveniently located to explore Athens, with stunning views of the Acropolis and ruins of Zeus Temple. Check in was smooth and we were given lots of good recommendations from the host. The apartment was big and spacious and really comfortable. Would recommend to anyone visiting Athens.
Both me and my wife loved this hotel. The staff were really lovely and friendly, the food was amazing, the rooftop restaurant was absolutely great helping us dine and giving us an amazing view of Athens and the Acropolis
Location is amazing we’re right next to the acropolis and but still quiet and local, the roof top and balcony had a very good view. The cleanliness of the apartment is very good. They had everything prepared. I had a very nice stay for four days, it was the perfect location to explore around Athens! Many local restaurants and cafes nearby, and next to the hill to visit for sunset!
The staff were always very friendly. Checkin and checkout were very quick. A great hotel at a very good price for the location. The room was fairly basic but great for the price. Housekeeping did a lovely job of servicing the room every day while I was out exploring. The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop cafe was exceptional. Everything you need is within walking distance. I would stay here again if I ever return to Athens.
Quiet hotel with a beautiful rooftop views, 5 minutes from the Acropolis and 15 minutes from the center. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had an apartment with all the equipment we needed and comfortable double bed, where my daughters slept. I slept on a sofa bed and it was the only negative thing - so creaky! with a very thin mattress.
new hostel in city center of Athens ,i was probably the first guest and everything seem new.
Acropolis view and small jacuzzi in the rooftop is amazing.
Caravin Wanderhome - Acropolis6 is an absolute gem! The apartment is beautifully designed, with earthy tones and cozy details that make it feel like home. The bedroom is serene and comfortable, the living area stylish with a bohemian touch, and the small balcony is perfect for your morning espresso. The location is ideal for exploring Athens, just a short walk from major landmarks. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, stylish, and well-located stay!

Go beyond the Acropolis and explore the Agora and Kerameikos, imagining yourself entering Athens along the road from the port of Piraeus, and following the Panathenaic Way to the Akropolis. Stop at the museums along the way to understand the significance of each site. Then visit the National Archaeological Museum to see that classical Athens is just one of Greece's many magnificent cultures.

If you want to avoid crowds while seeing the famous sights, start out early and be at the sights when they open. I arrived at the Acropolis around 8:10 AM and there were only around 20 people on the whole compound. It was wonderful! There was a crowd climbing the hill when I descended, though!

Consider visiting Athens in May or September.
Consider visiting Athens in May or September. May is just lovely. Spring flowers like poppies and daisies cover the hills. It's not too busy and not too hot. Remember that on holidays you are always moving so consider the weather when you make your plans. Also, research opening hours as the Acropolis is closed May 1; and other Ancient Landmarks are closed on certain days and on certain hours any other day.
